Which side is more diverse for this election?

Side A: 2 Old white politicians

Side B: 2 Hispanics, a black guy and a businessman

Which side would you think is Democrat, and which side is Republican?

so really we have two white people with the lead right now.

one a woman
one a man

both criminals
both filthy rich
both will say anything to get elected
both racists

the female keeps people down by making them rely on the government for a place to live and food to eat
the male keeps people down by making them work like slaves

Byrd was still pushing the KKK in his 40's, and was still using the term "n1gg3r" on television in his 80's. Oh wait, he's a Democrat, he gets a pass. Dumb ass modern Democrats and libtards are so stupid, they don't even know that it was their party that created the fucking KKK.
Of course you ignored the FACT that the NAACP considered him a champion on racial matters. Typical of Wingnut idiots. Talk about Dems in the 60's or before when they were the racists, ignore the Present where the Wingnuts are the racists.

That's why 3rd, 4th parties should get lots of votes this year.

You do realize that those racist southern democrats you are talking about, threatened to switch their party affiliation to Republican if LBJ passed the Civil Rights bill back in the mid 60's. He did, and they went through with their threat. So the racist Democratic party of yesterday is the racist Republican party of today...

The Southern shift is a little more complex than that. Obviously some voters did switch because of the CRA and voting rights act but a lot of it had to do with white flight to the suburbs and those folks becoming more Republican as well as Nixon and Reagan both crushing the entire electorate, not just the South. Both Clinton and Carter did pretty well in the South well after those bills were passed.

The Republican's really didn't start crushing the south on a consistent basis until 30 years after the CRA (1994) so it is a little tough to attribute their entire success in the region to the bill. But yes, obviously some people did switch based on it and that helped Goldwater.

True, it didn't happen overnight, but the Civil Rights Bill was the catalyst. I can remember when Oklahoma was basically a democratic state. Now it's one of if not the reddest states in the country...

Hillary and Obama are 10 times the racist that Trump is. Fact.

A little pop quiz on notable racist quotes by leading Democrats within the last decade.

Name the Democrat (Vlad is correct but not an acceptable answer for the quiz):

1. The authors quote _____ as saying privately that Obama, as a black candidate, could be successful thanks, in part, to his "light-skinned" appearance and speaking patterns "with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.". He _____was wowed by Obama's oratorical gifts and believed that the country was ready to embrace a black presidential candidate, especially one such as Obama -- a 'light-skinned' African American 'with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one,

2.
“I love this quote. It’s from Mahatma Gandhi. He ran a gas station down in St. Louis for a couple of years. Mr. Gandhi, do you still go to the gas station? A lot of wisdom comes out of that gas station”

3.
“I mean you’ve got the first sort of mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and nice-looking guy.”
and
You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I’m not joking!”

4. "A few years ago, this guy would have been carrying our bags”.

1. Harry Reid
2. Hillary
3. Biden
4 Bill Clinton

How is the Clinton quote racist?

That is more of a boss quote. He probably thinks a lot of people in the DNC should be carrying his bags, doubt it has to do with skin color.

Dont hate on the southern Democrat. One of the best groups that were around. Some were racist, but you have them in every group.
