How bout for best sushi? My local place here is dank as all get out, but want something that will blow it away if available...

Sushi is something I usually only get when I have visitors...... but if I do I would go to Sushi Samba in the Palazzo for something glamorous and exceptional...... or if I was looking for something low key that is very good for a low price I would go to Sushi Ko in Sumerlin on Craig Road (but that is a long way from the strip). Others might be able to give better advice here as I am not a real sushi expert but these were the two of many that my guests seem to like the most.

Yea everything on the strip costs about 2x as much as it should (except for hotel rooms). To be honest I pretty much always eat at places off the strip but obvioulsy if you want glitz and glamor that is where it is at.

Anyone try 800 Degrees Pizza Shop yet? Heard it was really good and it literally takes under 2 minutes for your pizza to be ready.

What's the better buffets on the strip?
Best hole in the wall Italian place near the strip?
Best Burger on the strip?
Locals favorite casino off strip?

I haven't tried the 800 Degrees Pizza Shop yet but it is about to open in the new SLS which is right across the street form me so I will check it out soon.

I would not recommend any buffets as they are all very overpriced and mediocre or inexpensive and terrible in my experience.

My favorite burger on the strip is Stripburger at the Fashion Show Mall. It is actually cheaper than most of the other "gourmet" strip burger places and also better in my opinion.

The best locals casino off the strip is Red Rock.

Gotta disagree about a couple buffets. Wynn and Bellagio are solid...you'd happily pay $35/person for some of the stuff they serve if you went out to dinner (the Wynn's Alaskan crab legs are outstanding). Plus it's fairly easy to get comped at both places if you play a decent amount...pit bosses are the ones I've always had the most success with when it comes to getting rooms, food, etc. Just give him your player's card and politely ask how close you may be to qualifying for a buffet, show tix, whatever it is you want. Ask like that though...not in a "how much free stuff can you give me?" way that puts him/her on the spot.

Oh, one other thing. If you need some football winners that weekend, be sure to look up a company called VIP Sports and ask for a guy named Steve Stevens. He'll hook you up with some ab-solute...blowout winners! He consistently hits 70%...just ask him!

I've been to the Wynn Buffet..........It is a good one...,,,Although I like Caesars as well...........I don't know Steve Stevens although I'm guessing he like the guy I hear on the radio all the time (Jonathan Stone Cold Locks) who ironically has a tip on every primetime again (it really amazes me how he always has a big edge found on a lot of primetime TV games compared to less marquee games, it is amazing how he gets it to line up that way each week)
