Ginos east pizza is way better than uno's..This is a must.. You have to go to portillos and have an italian beef with mozzarella and peppers...There are plenty of blues clubs near wrigley on halsted that you can go and hear some great blues anynight of the week.. I really like a place called Blues and kingston mines is always good... Enjoy its one of the best citys in the country (in the summertime).....

good choices here...

I would say Harry Carry's place on Kinze...just to say ya did both (Cub,etc)...I've walked it 500+ times...easy walk..(farther south)

you are far enough north...for

OLd Town..nice bars..and food...

Rush Street...if ya like the nite life...(some nice restartants, as well)..

this link should set you up.... http://chicago.metromix.com/

enjoy are city...:toast:

The old Hi-Tops is now a Harry Carey's, on Addison and Sheffield. In the Old Town area, O'Briens is to be avoided. Horrible, overpriced food.

I would hang out in the Wrigleyville area 3-4 hours before the game starts, it will be happening. Bars surround Wrigley Field. Just be prepared to spend $5-6 on a beer before the game.

Gullivers used to have the best pan pizza around. Jerry the owner passed away a year or 2 ago. I havn't been there since his passing but I heard widow sold restaurant and the pizza isn't the same.

Akillies,

I grew up 4 blocks from a 2nd Gullivers on Milwaukee and Dempster in Niles. Had the same great pizza as the Gullivers on Howard. The Niles Gullivers closed over 25 years ago, it is now a very good italian restaurant by the name of Rossini's.
