Yes but the Falcons of week 1 isn't anything like the Falcons of week 8.
The injuries have mounted.
They have lost 5 starters on the 0 line.

There is not another sport in the world that is more week to week then NFL football.

A team can go from good to bad from bad to good in a 4 week period.

Its honestly fun to watch.

The Patriots and Saints were done 4 weeks ago.

After the Chiefs game everyone was talking about them getting a top 5 pick.

4 weeks later they are ranked #1 in all the power polls.

why do you continuously mention the Patriots and the Saints in the same sentence? The Saints do not have the Pats tradition, they're not hated like the Pats and their 2014 season does not resemble the Pats.

if any 2014 season resembles the Pats, that would be the Steelers

the Saints are in 49er's territory, sans the 49er's superior division. They're a step ahead of the surging Vikings and two steps behind the Browns

so please, stop insulting my boys

TIA

Their 2014 season does resemble the Pats.
Saints just got off to a slightly slower start.

On a Sunday Night the Saints got blown away on primetime television against Dallas and everyone in the world pretty much said they were done.
The very next night the Pats go to KC and get blown away by almost the exact same score and every wrote the Pats obituary saying the dynasty is done.

Maybe not the tradition of the Pats but in the last 10 years the Saints are the team that his been the closest to the Pats on the field.
I would not say either team is really hated but both teams have had major scandals where both teams I think have been incorrectly criticized for something thats been blown way out of proportion.

Pats-Spygate
Saints-Bounty Gate.

Both teams coaches are considered #1 and #2 in NFL circles.

Brady and Brees take turns switching between 4 and 5 in the all time TD rankings.

Both have the 2 best TE's in NFL history.
Both have similar philosophies.

They are pretty close when you put them side by side.
I think the Saints and the Pats have had the most success of any other teams in the NFL in the last 8 years.

As a matter of fact, that is not an opinion.

Saints and Pats are 1 and 2 in wins in that span.

If you think Detroit is that good that must mean the Saints are great because the Saints went on the road 3 weeks ago(supposedly the saints can't win on the road) and absolutely gave that game away giving up a 13 point lead with 3 mins left in the game.

Then Detroit went to London and almost lost to who I consider the 2nd worst team in the NFL.

Yeah but both of those games were without Megatron. He is the best player in the NFL at his position! I like Golden Tate but he is no Megatron. Even so Tate is 4th in the NFL in receiving yards in 8 games (1 & 2 have played 9). When healthy there is no non-QB who can move a line more than a healthy Megatron. If Megatron plays those games are probably not even close. Not to mention Reggie Bush and their top 3 TEs were out vs Atlanta. They signed Kellen Davis at TE the week before Atlanta and he started! Kellen Davis will most likely be cut and be out of the NFL in 2 weeks.

Don't forget this team could just as easily be 7-1 if you saying they could have lost those 2 games to Atl and NO. They lost to Buffalo on a 58 yard, last second FG with Megatron getting hurt early and missing most of the game and Alex Henery missing 3 FGs. That game is just as easy to flip.

Not to mention the Lions D is legit and has stepped when it needed to. Their D will keep them in every game this year barring serious injuries. It held Rogers and the Packers to 7 points. Do you know the last time Rogers and the Packers scored single digits in a game? You have to go back to Oct. 2010 when the Packers won at the NYJ 9-0. In 4 years nobody kept Rogers to single digits in scoring. It also made Brees look like a rookie in the last 5 minutes of that game when he threw something like 10 straight incompletions and a pick.

I am not sold on Caldwell and think he is not a great game manager but if Meagtron comes back healthy this team will be tough to stop. Big test this week vs. Miami. Can't see the Dolphins being able to run the ball so it will be interesting to see how Tanneyhill handles the pressure from Detroit's front four.

Yeah the Lions are good, I like Stafford and Tate, Megatron is a beast, good defense, etc etc.

But to say they are better than Denver is just retarded.

I mean, y'all must just be saying that for shock value or to have a novel opinion. No one can really believe that.
