If you look closely at the line moves for earlier this afternoon, you will see that at virtually the same time, they all moved to 3 1/2...
That indicates a syndicate/and or steam play...
But that's not how I got the information in this case and I don't wish to share it on here...

I believe getting 3 1/2 points is a HUGE advantage right now mathematically speaking, wouldn't you agree?
And for grins and giggles, does anyone know the exact numerical advantage one has getting 3 1/2 when the line closes at 2 in hoops?

jj I'm not saying there isn't a lot of money pouring in on local schools in this area...you should talk to some of the locals here about tonight.
I'm just saying that as bad as Penn is this year and as uninspiring as Drexel will be this year these are two horrible teams to bet on or against. Drexel IMO will be a victim of expectation and Penn is just...well they're just not so hot.
The Philly papers are more concerned with what Temple will do than this intercity matchup tonight. It's just a bad game and I don't think there is value anywhere in this game. MAYBE the Quakers are undervalued because of their putrid start and Providence is obviously not Drexel. MAYBE the Dragons will play up to their potential and outplay the Quakers and cover as a road favorite (the Palestra is a tough nut to crack...but it means something for the city teams to beat Penn there).
MAYBE...but I've seen a lot of local hoops here...and putting money on either one here to me is a crapshoot.
