take it to the Limit a great one. Plus you get Randy Meiisner on lead vocal.

I could like Frey and the Eagles a little more if he and Henley weren't such pricks about money.

For me the music got tired and old after 15 minutes..that kind of music just doesn't stand the test of time..at least for me.. we all have our own musical tastes

Very sad...The first concert I saw was "The Long Run Tour" Nov 1 1979...Did not want to go,but older neighbors had ticket and talked me into it...Sat in the very last row in top of building and enjoyed every minute of it...Had no idea what a concert was until then and now several hundred later,I am thankful to the neighbors...

Flash forward 16 years on April 7 1995 saw them reunite and they were the ones to usher in 100.00 concert tickets

Nirvana is Britney Spears compared the The Eagles. If it isn't a PAC-10 team or something from the NW it sucks with this guy.

Nirvana? Talk about overrated.

LOL. That is pretty funny and damn accurate.

Unreal comment. Their music is the exact definition of "stand the test of time". Hilarious!

Again, from the Nirvana fan.....

"I was standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona such a fine sight to see. It's a girl my lord in a flatbed ford slowing down to take a look at me." Best driving song ever!

HaHa...As recently as 2014 they still sold almost 116k copies of an album from 40 years ago...The #10 cd that year only sold 500k...I would say yes, that is the exact definition of "stand the test of time".

Released 39 years ago, the Eagles' Greatest Hits 1971-1975 still sold almost 116,000 copies in 2014.

"Case Closed" evidence of Eagles Legendary Status = In Concert 90 Minutes Acoustic/Break/90 Minutes Electric....very very few with the Catalog & Desire to deliver a show to the fans to pull this off....Dylan, Springsteen...The Dead...Niel Young....Eagles brought it Live...

Very Rare that a song makes the equivalent of an Earthquake when it hits Radio, has people saying "OMG have you heard it?" Hotel California changed the conversation then we went on to discover the whole album was great..

Then Glenn Frey's solo success.

"Too Commercial" for some, and Radio played them so damn much some of us got completely Burnt Out then the "Country Tinge", obstacle there to some ears but there is no way to deny they accomplished Epic stuff, left a mark on music.....

....and they deserve to be remembered as among the best their ever was.

Godspeed Glenn and Thank You.

Saw them same Tour (I believe), LA Sports Arena.....almost certainly had to be '77....."Wasted for sure. LOL" Yes, definite Checkmark in that box. That Concert was an EVENT.

...my personal favorite Eagles song....after Hotel California....
