The cubs are a freebie folks. The cards do not have a shot in my opinion. The cards overachived last year, and the cubs under achived. The cards had everything go right and the cubs had everything go wrong. Get the picture. Do you think Larry Walker can stay healthy this year, I would bet no. Do you think Edmounds can have a year like last season, probably not. They lost Renteria, which is a huge loss. The Cubs on the other hand, insteed of everyone having career years like most of the Cardinal players, everyone had down years, except for Alou. Watch out for Cory Patterson to have a breakout season ,you heard it hear first. Patterson has the talent to have a Beltran type year. The pitching staff with Wood, Prior, Maddox, Ramirez, need I say more. I will go on record to say the Cubs not only will win the central, but also when the world series. Im not a Cubs fan, just telling it like it I see it. Im a Braves fan.
