Utah is playing well.
1-game elimination tournament anything is possible.............Nova proves this................a #7 Seed won it all last year I believe.........Were they the best team? They were in the Tournament and in the end that is all that matters (not the regular season).........The regular season is set-up so you can get to the Tournament............Conference Tournaments are set-up as well for teams that had a subpar regular season to possibly sneak in as well.

That's an excellent point WS, this tourney is "one and done." Did UConn deserve to hoist the trophy? Willie would say yes, I'm in doubt. So far, good teams going forward, I thought Nova was a farce and they're now out, but the rest of the best are still playing, so I like this field. Problem is, lines suck, I mean really bad.

- Kentucky would get drilled by every NBA team. The worst team drills them by 30. Minimum.
- The 90's UNLV team would beat this Kentucky team. Kentucky is taller, but that's it. From a talent standpoint, that UNLV team is better.
1- Larry Johnson: He would be the best player on the court. Post up, face up, handles, 36+ vertical, strength, 3 pt range. Nobody on Kentucky is close to the skill set this guy had.
2- Stacey Augmon: He would be the best defensive player on the court. Devastating finisher in transition, can take away any perimeter scorer. Long, lean, great leaper.
3- Greg Anthony: Tremendous leadership and floor general. Great defensively, the Harrison brothers would have a hard time getting clean looks.
4- Anderson Hunt: Excellent perimeter shooter, very good defender.
The center was George Ackles, a great leaper and shot blocker. Elmore Spencer came off the bench, excellent defender and rebounder. Also a 1st rd pick. Moses Scurry was another tough, hard noses front court player.
They played tremendous team defense, and had a devastating fast break. They would beat this Kentucky team by DD. DoubleDeuce is exactly right.
Who can beat Kentucky this year? Duke on a good day. They have 2-3 1st rd picks, good size up front and a solid point guard. Arizona possibly if they play their absolute best game. Good athletes and solid guard play too. Tarczewski gives them size up front, great wing skill players. Wisconsin would have to be unconscious from long range to have any chance. Thats it. These 3 teams, and realistically Duke is the only team with a puncher's chance.

Kentucky will not lose.....only Zona has a chance. Duke is Duke....they will be lucky to even make the Final 4.
But after watching them today vs Cincy, it will take some mean SOBs that can play larger than their frame to stand a chance....oh and they need to shoot 50% or better from 3. The paint will be owned by the Cats....just too big and freakishly athletic at that size. I mean Cincy had one possession today and had 5 of their shots blocked on one freaking possession. I think Ky would have to have a "bad" game (they have done it this season) and the other team would have to play well. Arizona and Wisky and perhaps Gonzaga, but Gonzaga always seems to crap the bed in the tourney as a higher seed.....like today against Iowa (*cough cough*)

Its Ok to hate Duke, I'm far from a Duke lover. But to say others have a better chance and they have absolutely no shot is ridiculous.

Let me rephrase...Duke has a slim shot at beating Kentucky. Things more likely to happen than Duke beating Kentucky this year though includes Vandy winning the SEC football title in 2015, Bill Gates filing for Bankruptcy and Obama getting his head out of his a@@. And let's be honest the last one about Obama will just never happen. So let's just assume Duke will get skull dragged against the Cats....even though I am not even sold they get past the Zags for even a chance.
Go Zona though....I placed a future on them fellas.
