I thought that when they lowered my limits that this was a good sign. Usually desperate books will raise limits hoping to get lucky. Also, isn't pan am guaranteed by a government bond? I guess these gov. guarantees are a joke.

One never knows, but if true, it makes NO sense why Scotty is continually on me to get a Nascar contest going that will last thru next November.

I don't want to go in details without his consent - bu the said they are doing their best to pay out everybody, and he said he will pay me and other customer a portion once a day or two days (within a week or so).

LOL Ivan, we're supposed to believe that a book would ever tell you anything in confidence? Trust me, whatever betpanam told you is for public consumption----you have no worries repeating the conversation verbatim to anyone who will listen.

What does Madcapper's capping have to do with this?

As far as I can tell he does quite well capping, but why does it even matter?

Areeff - now you say Krackman, General, and Shrink have all helped you with problems? On top of that I know I have also on at least 4 occassions. At the very least sent e-mails and made calls, to be honest once I caught on to what you were doing I didn't make much effort. Seems like a lot of books just pick on poor Areeff huh? These forums are for honest players, not scammers who look to circumvent limits and bonus whore books out of business.

What's odd is I have played out of over 40 books easily and don't know if I ever had a serious problem I needed to run to the forums with. I bet most players here haven't. Areeff admits to having everyone at this site handle his repeated problems with books yet most can play for a long time without a single problem with a book. Weird huh? I'm not a brain surgeon but it's pretty obvious where the problem lies, it's not with the 50 books who have gotten tired of your shit it's with you! Then when you have an alleged "problem" with them you are here to run the book through the shitter until they pay you guys. It's getting old son.

Tell your boss you need more outs and/or increase your limits but the books are getting tired of your shit. PanAm is new and not a book to move money with or screw out of a lot with the bonus whoring that comes along with it. Don't like their limits play somewhere else dumbass.....

I just got a small payout from Panam on my stored value card (about 50% of my payout I wanted).
I hope they will pay me the rest.
Bill said he will pay me off a portion each day...

Pat, just curious since I respect your opinion and the work you did here: Do you think some sort of statement is in order from Ken regarding the "change of ownership" at PanAm and how it might be causing a slowpay situation? Given the amount of enthusiasm with which PanAm was introduced by the powers that be around here and that enthusiasm may have caused many posters to feel comfort posting up there, I sure think that at least some statement about whether a change of ownership occurred and why is definitely in order. A schilling for your thoughts....

I am still waiting on the rest of the payment..it may seem very slow - but I believe Bill is a good guy and is trying to payout everyone else in a timely fashion. Hopefully it won't take all week (by friday at the latest)...
I know BIll told me today he had to reload the Neteller merchant code for like $25,000 again.

I requested $xxxx amount on Monday.
My first payout was $xxxx amount via Neteller.. (tues night)
My 2nd payout was $xxxx amount today via Stored Value Card (wed night)
Hopefull my 3rd or even 4th payout will go thru neteller.
I really do like the FLEX CARD - however I get ripped off at the ATM w/ fees and currency exchange.

Anyone else having difficulty getting paid in full?

Sun - to answer the question, yes I would like to see as much as we can get from a site like this. Especially from an advertiser when things like this come up. Ken did go down and visit these people and there was much fanfare when they opened, I have an account there right now. I think there is a lot of respect between the parties and hopefully Ken will come to the forums with what he knows that could affect all of us. However before we kick him under the bus I think we should say (at least in my case) we don't know what he is doing behind the scenes. He may very well be in contact with them trying to work out the details of what is going on and looking for a solution. Then again there may not be anything going on at all.

I can tell you from working here you always take the brunt of it in your position but a lot of times your hands are tied in what you can do. The players vent on you as a books banner is hung here and rightfully so, yet the books hide behind you and use a place like this as a buffer. Of course the site gets paid which eases a lot of the pain inflicted but in reality the pure answers are hard for these sites to get. We are dealing with an industry where not only the players in a lot of cases technically are breaking the law but a lot of the principals involved in these books have done some of that in the past as well. At least in Uncle Sam's eyes. With the JC situation a lot of the ownership situations remain murky by design, not a lot that we can blame on these sites. My father was a bookie for 25 years and trust me when I tell you that no one found out anything about him he didn't want you to know. These guys have lived the life and know how to survive, most of the time it involves keeping your chin down and flying under the radar. The RX or Ken isn't going to get to the bottom of anything that PanAm does not want to get out, that's just the way it is. It's one reason I never really ageed with the label of these places being a "watchdog" site. They serve a lot of good but the track record on these places is not anywhere near what a true watchdog site should be, hell they have no way of knowing a books finances. Let alone what these books are thinking, some of them can have all the money in the world but decide to stiff us just out of spite or greed. How does a true "watchdog" site monitor any of this?

To sum up, yes as players I feel we are owed as much as we can get. I think it's best for us when the sites are as forthcoming with us as they can be, not just when asking for post-up but when questions arise as well. If a book like PanAm is undergoing a change of ownership and it is causing problems then absolutely we should be informed about it. Same thing happened with Royal evidently but for some reason the book was not very upfront about all this. The reality is SunDevil you can't assume Ken or the RX knows much more than you do. The books often hide things they construe will come out negatively towwards them more so against sites like this then they would as players even. So at this point I think it's a stretch to assume too much but yes I would hope Ken would come out here and let us know what he knows. Don't forget I see their banner at a lot of sites and not seeing too much information anywhere else. I don't know either way but would believe Ken doesn't know much more than we do about any major changes at this point. I have nothing to back any of this up but I don't see any wrongdoing by the RX here, I doubt Ken knows much more than we do right now. Thanks for asking...

WEll it does. I just tried it at the ATM. However it is $500 CAD max (hence, I'll have to go to the ATM everyday for the next 3 days)... There is a $5 CAD fee to withdraw.

The good thing about it is that i can go online to check the balance, etc.

However, I think the ATM/ BANK gave me a worst excahnge rate as oppose to even a Western Union LOL.

Anyways I prefer neteller and flexcard as opposed to WU.

Its faster...and cheaper...

Thanks Pat, I appreciate your perspective as always.

This particular instance is just getting to me a little because of the unusually large amount of fanfare that came with "Panama's first sportsbook", "Government-regulated", blah blah blah. I'd be satisfied if Ken just came on and said he has shovel in hand and is digging for info and will get back to us....

Thanks again for your input.

Read the whole thread and I think some people around here owes Kongen an apology if his story pans out. I've also noticed the absence of the powers to be and the shills in this post too? Not looking good.
