Eek, there are lots of things I could reply to this as you miss several points here but I don't won't to steer the discussions off-topic, so I'll only say that while I don't think too highly of the general European population, either, I do believe that someone like JTP would probably not have a chance to successfully publish a book, and this I count as a definite advantage to Europe.
