looks like you will be money on the Cabrera tourney picks -- nice job !!

Damn son! Thanks for wondering over from the NBA side, good to hear from you. I haven't been as much into it this year, but always get psyched for playoffs. Look forward to visiting YOU shortly. Hope all is well....

yeah -- good job with the masters -- -I watched the last three days -- thought it was very entertaining--
especially the last day with cabrera and adam scott -- i was rooting for the "old guy" to win his 2nd jacket but didnt happen.

+1. Logistically speaking: after he played well in Houston, I heard he had gone back to his old irons. Already having 1 green jacket and the experience, that was plenty enough for me to back him.

I thought Cabrera played the most consistent the entire week -- he was fun to watch.
I liked how he always plays fast with no delays.

Seriously(!) on the "fast play"....wish some other players (baseball included) would take heed.

Top 10 -

DeLaet 2.0/17.0
Boooo 0.5/1.87
BVP 0.5/4.0
Baddeley 1.0/4.0
Kaymer 2.0/10.6
Sing 0.5/3.75
Coleslaw 0.5/12.5
Marino 0.5/13.5
Sabbatini 0.5/5.5

Tourney:
Baddeley ov Hanson 2.10/2.0
Kaymer ov Crane 3.0/3.4
Guthrie ov Stadler 2.0/2.2
Coleslaw ov Rollins 1.0/1.05
Glover ov Jones 2.2/2.0

Mahan +1.5 vs BVP 3.9/3.0

Think it's obvious by now I like dogs in general, or better yet, proven players who are due or young studs on the up-swing. However, upon review, definitely won't claim this as the best looking card for this weekend....Have a feeling I'll be loosening the ole neck tie pretty quick
here shortly. In any event, I love this game (even though I suck playing) and just want to have FUN with it, including figuring out all the places where I'm not supposed to be :-)

Ewwwe. Took a bath last weekend. Time to get up, dry off, and be the ball.

RBC: -7.2 units (-$327.00)
YTD: +18.63

I'm going to start posting wagers in terms of $ going forward, converting to units is a pain in the ass b/c "1 unit" for me changes week to week. For example, I may be betting $50/unit one week, or $20/unit the next, etc. I'm new to posting wagers consistently and learning as I go, so my apologies in advance if this is against some kind of "rule".

On the year 18.63 units = $723.00 and we'll start from there.

Hey GL, don't worry about the bad week, it happens to the best and you're still doing very well on the year! I had a question for you if you don't mind. What book did you place the tourney bet at? Specifically the Colsaerts vs Rollins and Mahan +1.5 vs BVP wager out of curiosity? I think a few of my books would've graded the Colsaerts as a Win and the Mahan as a loss. Colsaerts completed more holes than Rollins so should be a W. And in the Mahan matchup since they played the same amount of holes the strokes/spread would come into play. Trying to figure out if this rule varies from book to book or not. Any idea?

Really wish I wouldve had more time to look at matchups this week. These are basically just action plays, hope to have some time to make additional wagers this weekend. This morning I took:

de Jonge to finish in the top 10 - 20/100
Bubba ov Rory (1st Rd) - 50/60
Potter Jr. ov Stanley and Appleby (1st Rd) - 20/40

Not at all, Rounder. I'm not sure if it varies or not....I go through a local who allows us to pull golf lines (only) from 3 sites: sbook, 5D, and intertops, so generally my lines are from a combo of the 3. However, he lets us do this only for purposes of finding different matchups, we can't "hunt" for the best lines/odds obviously and he monitors it closely. As for the MDF's last weekend, he's really cool about it and considers them a "push" even though the players got paid because they didn't finish the tournament....it went in my favor that time, thankfully. The only exception to that (i.e., not finishing the tourney) with my guy is if a player W/D -- all bets are on.

I'm about to go check out some of your winners for this weekend and may tail you on some if they're still on the board. Good luck this weekend!

Adding - round 2

Olesen ov Els 32/30...this matchup worked for me in the Masters so I'll try to catch lighting in a bottle again for some small action

Lean: I love Peter Hanson tomorrow but the only matchup I could find was 3-ball with Tringale and Molanari (Hanson +125). I could see either of those guys having great rounds tomorrow and 1, 2-up Hanson even if he has a good day
so I'm passing. Really wish I could get a different matchup for him.
