It's over I think.

Thanks for the winner. Wish I had put more on it.
Hind sight is 20-20...you must look at what you can lose, not at what you won... stop for a moment...look around and count your blessings..those couple bucks we won tonight were compliments of a group of women from an island in the caribbean no larger then the state of Texas...Odds are their families at home were not even able to watch the game due to poverty..

these girls are playing for the right to an extra gallon of milk for their families...the rights to some extra meat servings etc..they are God fearing woman who love and respect their mothers and say "Aye Dios Mio" several times a day..Lead by a communist dictator type coach approved by Fidel Castro himself, I was happy to see them get the win...they still have a long road ahead of them..

I was glad that Reggie Miller with a wig lookin MFer for the USA had an off night too...

This was a good win...

Americans won't quit, they are acting like this is the Olympics or something.

Boy they sure did not..If not for the score at times you would have thought they were winning..Most of time you could tell who won the point by looking at the group of girls that were hugging after the point..

One last thing and only blemish...

There was not one darn pair of painties worth sniffing on either side of the court...Freakin dog pound homies:missingte

Thank you again for the play, but your commentary depresses me. What you say is correct. One of the things that I enjoy about the Olympics (the 5 minutes I watch), is that it is an opportunity for many people to be mentally removed from the day to day problems that plague them and their country. Many times that is why a pull for people from small countries or countries entrenched in poverty.

I based my opinion on the girls I saw tonight..I TVO`d it and would have transfered anything worth writing home ta ma bout onto cd..There was absolutely nuthing..I already deleted the recording as I am pressed for space on all 4 tvos:missingte..There was nothing sweet whatsoever..they have to pass a certain criteria to be panty whiff material..Like the Russian teams Becky Hammond.

The girl you pictured looked like a frightened parrot on crack tonight,,swear to God man..Did you watch it?

Cuba, ranked third in the world, overpowered the U.S. women 25-15, 26-24, 25-17 and went up 2-0 in preliminary round play. The U.S. women were even at 1-1.
USA Volleyball was reeling from the stabbing death of Todd Bachman, father of former Olympian Elisabeth Bachman McCutcheon and father-in-law of the U.S. men's coach. Bachman was attacked by a knife-wielding man at a tourist site in Beijing on Saturday.
Bachman's wife, Barbara, was seriously wounded by the attacker, who jumped to his death from a balcony of the Drum Tower, a landmark the Americans were visiting.
Many of the women on the team played with Bachman McCutcheon in the 2004 Athens Olympics. The Bachmans frequently accompanied USA Volleyball to tournaments and were especially close to the women's team.
The U.S. women defeated Japan in their opening game on Saturday night, while Cuba also won its first match against Poland.
Against Cuba, the United States struggled.
The U.S. women were up 5-1 in the first set when Cuba called a timeout to regroup -- and came back to surge ahead 8-5. Cuba went on to claim the set 25-15.
The United States kept it closer in the second, but Yumilka Ruiz's cross-court spike for match point gave the set to Cuba. The U.S. was similarly overpowered in the third.
Ruiz led Cuba with 13 points. Tayyiba Haneef-Park had 13 for the United States.
The Chinese fans at Capital Indoor Stadium cheered loudly for U.S. coach Jenny Lang Ping, who is a sports icon in China. Many stayed to applaud and take a picture as she left the court after the match.
Lang was known as the "Iron Hammer" during her playing days with the Chinese national team because of her powerful spikes. She led her team to an Olympic gold medal at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles.
