and he knows that.. that is exactly why he will always have bad games in big situations his head is shot!!I expect AROD to have at worst a decent game tonight and probably a very good one.
If he goes hitless and the Yankees lose, the NY media will be all over him.

cant believe we have this piece of crap for 10 more years!!
oh tonight they will be up or down 10-1 and he will hit a bomb who cares!! he always does this and nobody notices sure he will have most homers ever and also most empty homers as wellhno:

doesnt look good but not yet ill tell ya this if they lose either of the next 2 then i will say so.lol what were you saying last year?
naturally pettite gets assraped on the mound and gets a pass- hes a clutch pitcher blah blah (which by the way he isnt, the media loves spinning reality to become whatever it wants)
arod and everyone but damon blew last night, their season is over plain and simple
baseball is contagious true but the team did hit last night all but mister 250 million and it is ALWAYS the case!!Question those A-Rod make this line-up?
What I mean is this. It seems like when A-rod is off a lot of them are off and when he is on a lot of them are hitting to. So those A-rod slumps when the line-up slumps or does the line-up slumps when A-rod slumps.
Jason Bay showed up tonight wth Boston leading 11 - 2 in top of the 8th. Tonight Bay is 2 for 3 with 4 RBI including a key RBI triple he hit before Justin Pedroia put the game on ice with a grand slam later in the same inning.
Bay is hitting .341 with 31 hits and 20 RBI in 22 games as a Red Sox. His play in left field has been outstanding, not counting tonights totals..
wil.
Arod takes way too much abuse in these 'late-inning' discussions. They did the same thing with Jim Rice and both were probably responsible for half the team victories throughout the season. I am not an Arod fan but he does not suck...but as a RedSox fan I don't want him on the team either. When that talk was out there a couple years back of him possibly joining RedSox I was praying that it would not happen and glad that it didn't. Just like way back when I would not want Reggie Jackson on the team...same with Gossage, Righetti, Mattingly etc. They were all fantastic but it is enjoyable when your team beats the heavyweights.
BTW, many Sox fans wanted Arod to come to Boston but after deal went by the boards they acted like they never wanted him in the first place. Weird.
