Either both of you don't go out very often or the club scene has changed rapidly in 4 years since I went to college in Tampa. I don't go clubbing anymore, I hit up a few bars if I go out, but when I was in college I went clubbing at least 3-4 times a week (as well as worked in Club Skye/1409) and NO clubs have that type of music in Ybor.

Ybor City was (and still is) like the plethora of college partying and it was either hiphop, raggaeton, or rap at probably 12 different clubs.

Oh well, glad I don't anymore, If that shit came on I'd cover my asshole.

just graduated college, so basically i was going out at least 3 nights a week for the past 4 years. My musical taste isn't defined by the music they played at the bars and clubs at my college town, but see we're comparing South Bend to Tampa. Obviously your bars, clubs are going to cater more to popular, hip, trendy shit. The bars in South Bend? the "queer" shit as you put it that honestly a bunch of white college kids enjoy.

Not that they didn't play alot of real good shit that undoubteldy you'd hear in Tampa but it would just be mixed in with that other stuff, depending on the spot.

Here's what I found on the song. It is called "Dragostea din tei" and is sung in the Romanian language by the Moldovan band O-Zone. The guy mimicking the words is Gary Brolsma from Saddle Brook, NJ. The song was nicknamed Numa Numa after a phrase in the song.
