I've said many times on here that I despise liars and hypocrites, and I apply the same standards to everyone...regardless of party affiliation. Catholic priests who claim to be servants of God, yet enjoy banging kids when no one is looking should be beaten to death with their severed limbs...and if reports of the church trying to cover up the abuse are true, then anyone involved with that act is just as disgusting and evil as the crime itself. Same goes for Rabbis, Muslim clerics, whatever...
Having said that, just because certain priests for example committed these crimes doesn't mean every single member of the church endorses the action (unless, of course, you have groups like ISIS which condone handing out 6-yr-old brides like they were cans of beer at a bachelor party). That's why I try to look at each individual situation by itself. In this case, it's my understanding that this dumb ass fondled girls roughly his own age...some of which weren't aware of what was going on since they were passed out. The thing about repubs that said they would repeal Obamacare ....they were full of shit. They had no real plans to do that. Dems do the same thing during election time. They tell the base what they wanna hear to get them to the polls with no real plan to do anything they say. Maybe I'm an idealistic sucker, but I still hope I'll someday get to cast at least one vote for a guy who genuinely wants to do the right thing. Ted Cruz is one of them, and that's why he appeals to me. The rest of the R field? Not so much. From reading through this thread, who he touched is not clear. No matter who he touched, he was a kid. It was a teaching and disciplinary moment for the parents, noone else.
When they are handing out condoms to kids not old enough to process the full ramifications of protected or unprotected sex, do they tell them who is appropriate to use those condoms with?
