Everyone sins. Hypocrisy is not limited to any particular group. Many on the Left are always on a crusade against bigotry and racism, for ex...yet in my experience, they are highly bigoted and some of them insanely racist. On the other side, you have an asshat like this Duggar guy who claimed to be living a Christian life and was doing anything but. Funny how getting caught does wonders for one's conscience.

I typically try to size up people as individuals and avoid political/religious organizations. Just about everyone involved in such a thing has something wrong with them, including some Christian organizations. But it's not for me to judge...I just prefer to steer clear of groupthink. I personally believe the reason a lot of people join groups is to validate their insecure opinions rather than really being down with whatever the group's cause is. "See, I must be right! Just look at how many other people here feel like I do!"

As for football, absolutely. We can bash each other's political stances until the fucking cows come home. But we'd be total morons to refuse each else's help because we don't like their politics. I know there is a lot of good handicapping talent in the poli forum. Football will be easier than the daily grind of baseball since we have a whole week to sort through picks and opinions. I'd love nothing more than for the poli forum to be the most profitable source for picks on the entire site. I'm calling out every regular poster here...get off your asses and lets help each other crush it this football season. That IS why you signed up for this site in the first place, isn't it?
