Sounds great Willie.

We like the Hyatt French Quarter - two blocks off Bourbon and best Bloody Mary's.
The Saint is cool...very swanky and new on Canal two blocks off Bourban.
My personal favorite is the St. James....a couple blocks out of the quarter but they have a great restaurant...Brennans Chop House in the bottom.

Staying on Bourbon is great but we like to get away fron the noise aND craziness once the night is over.

can't wait, never been to NO before

My daughter has been there a few times and she loves it, she's telling me I'm going to love it too

She found something on Airbnb in the Lower Garden District. Is that a cool / convenient area? Three bedroom 2000 sq ft home with rave reviews

Lower Garden is a few miles from Bourbon...not a big deal but will definitely want to UBER or take a cab home.

I had bought a house in the lower garden a few years back and flipped it....if you really want a cool area that is NOT BOURBON look at the St. Charles area. Trolley cars, great restaurants, cool bars, biking, walking, tons of people....very neat area. Think it would be more considered Uptown.

We love Bourbon street, it is a wild party day and night, but there are so many cool things about that city it would be impossible to fit them all in even in a weeks vacation.

Man you are going to LOVE the atmosphere at the dome....the walk in is amazing. Hot women everywhere, street bands playing every where, bars all along the way...I have been to a few other NFL cities for games and none of them even come close.

I'll tell her to check out the St Charles area

She does Uber, what about trains or Trolley's?

Going to be a fun game day, can tell already

Yeah trolley ride would be ok although I have actually never done it..lol.

Usually buzzed on the ride in and get down to business once we get there. Bourbon street Saturday night will be a treat! Keep you money in your front pocket!

we're coming, but no tickets yet

I was actually looking at tickets late last night, have a few questions

Lower levels between 10-20 going for just below $ 500 after fees, are these good prices?

Sections 200's and lower 300's appear to be Club seats. Are they? What do club seats include if anything?

How about Section like 509? $ 389 after fees. how is that level? is it a club level?

We always get Club Seats when the Pats play the Jets in NY, protection from the weather and the food / bar. But we never get club seats in Foxboro, way too expensive.

I know we don't need club seats in September, especially in NO, especially in a dome :)

1) what sections do you recommend? for viewing, bars, food, experience................? we like it all :)

2) any special place I should look for tickets?

3) can you buy tickets through a Saints Ticket Exchange available to season ticket holders?

As for accommodations, we're looking at properties listed on VBRO or similar sites. I told my daughter to find something in the neighborhood you suggested above (St Charles)

Yeah you wanna look in the lower garden district, uptown (especially nice) or garden district - if you go lower garden you want to be south of St. Charles or withing a block of it if you go north. New Orleans like any big city can be super nice from one block and a shithole to the next.

The best value on seats are in the lower section in the corners. We pay about $100 apiece for our tix in the corners.....40-40 yard line tickets are $300+ apiece.

Not 100% sure on the club seating advantage but in certain sections you have private access to a bar and sitting/TV area - especially nice for halftime and hanging out for the ladies.

The dome is a very fan friendly places so don't be shy to wear your autographed Randy Moss AFC All-Star jersey. You won't have any problems with anyone....in fact the folks down here are super friendly sans the first timer idiot redneck who scored tickets somehow.

Honestly, I would just try to be in the lower sections. The upper sections are fine if you're near the bottom but the nose bleeds suck. I believe our old seats were section 104 and we are now opposite the field in lower bowl corner.

Warehouse district is pretty cool too. Lots of restaurants and bars...sort of a sub set of the French Quarter away from the madness.

Great spot, great location - not very close to the Dome (about 2 miles)

https://www.vrbo.com/4039725ha

On second thought the other two would be better....this one is getting a little close to a rough spot of town although the whole area is being renovated and improved. Just not quite there yet but a lot of locals live in Marigny
