Yup

I've had my Weber for 16 years, same year I bought my house. Never been covered (we get a little snow in New England) and still looks knew.
Never broke a piece on the thing and fires up first click every time.

They really are a great product.

Use that money to buy a water distiller and a shower filter.

Best bet would be to google Strickland Propane, and ask for Hank Hill... he knows EVERYTHING there is to know about gas grills!

not sure why you would want a gas grill. my suggestion would be to buy a big green egg and be finished buying grills for the rest of your life. theyre a little pricey but well worth it in my opinion. I use my xl abt three times a week. nearly everything is guaranteed through warranty.

my xl was 1200. if you buy from a local dealer, ace hardware or outdoor patio type of place the warranty is awesome. you can "grill" and "smoke" depending what you want to do. ive seen people bake on them similar to ovens. they hold the desired temp for as long as you want, sometimes up to 18 hours without having to reload with wood or lump charcoal. when you are finished grilling something quick, you can shut it down and reuse the charcoal the next time you cook.

I believe you can get a large bge for around 900 dollars. I just figured if you are going to spend 3-400 dollars on a gas grill every 5 yrs or so due to parts rusting etc, you could pay more initially and have something that will last you a lifetime. I live in ky where it is hot and humid during the summer and cold during the winter and I have never covered my egg. again, definitely worth the money imo. you wont be disappointed!
