Congress won't do a thing to help us out. These are the same bastards that let these companies merge. They could lower their price to less than $2 a gallon. They are pricing the gas based on what the commodities market does daily. total ripoff.

Something stinks with gas closing in on $4/ gallon when crude is more like $100 / bbl when gas was last $4 and crude was more like $150.

and yet the lunatic central bankers think another round of printing is warranted

businesses do not hire people when gaz @$4/g yet Bernanke thinks they would be hiring when it hits $5/g

It just seems to me that there should be a very linear correlation between the price of a bbl of crude and the various refined versions of crude oil.

Did the cost of refining crude dramiticaly increase ? If so , Why ? Did taxes increase a lot ? I think not

the current retail price of gas/ diesel/ heating oil etc is out of whack with the raw price of the crude source materials.

I want to know why there is this increase in fuel prices without the crude product reaching highs.

what has government ever controlled successfully? seriously?

and how does our Congress control the worldwide price of oil? please

forget moving farther and farther to the left thinking DC can legislate utopia (for the world) , if you want the speculated price to decrease just drill more, refine more and build pipelines

it's not rocket science

and it's not about putting air in your tires or investing in unproven, cost prohibitive and failed technologies

expanding nuclear energy sources would help too

For the USA....

military might. You don't want to take on the armed forces of this country.....USA could beat the rest of the world in a war.
