My recommendation is to immediately terminate your business relationship with Gamebookers.

YES, FIRE YOUR BOOKMAKER!

Anytime, a Bookmaker refuses to honor an accepted wager (agreement) whether it wins, losses, or ties...that is the LAST time such occurs with me, as those Bookmakers compelled to void agreements are immediately terminated...no questions asked.

Why?

Because all Bookmakers (rightfully) hold YOU to the standards (by written rule) of NOT having the ability to CANCEL or VOID propositions you’ve entered…In the name of “fairness,” I merely hold THEM to the SAME STANDARDS they've imposed upon me.

I am continually amazed at how many Punters here accepted such unprofessional hypocrisy from their Bookmaker by contining their business relationship with such Welchers.

Thank you for your post...In solidarity, I will NEVER establish a business relationship with Gamebookers.

Gamebookers is a must book for soccer bettors and offer probably the most extensive betting menu in the world let alone the most sophisticated sotware in the world. They are a very large outfit especially in Europe and other countries that take more volume than about 77% of CR books on a daily basis. If they would reduce the juice on American bets we would be looking at a top 10-15 book worldwide. I do not know the story with this poster, maybe a bad line, who really knows. I tend to believe books more than the player with disputes. I am not saying this guy is wrong though, it is just difficult to get the real facts on forum boards. Hopefully the guy can at least get his money back and maybe Kenny can help out here.

I would definately play at gamebookers though and they take decent numbers on games and they are getting better and better and the e-mail support is very good. Again lots of soccer bettors there making decent size wagers and we do not here many complaints so I definately would play there and I also like playing at very large outfits with steady daily volume all year around.

Not only was that a lame excuse to cancel your wager they waited until AFTER the event was over. Any book who pulls such a sleazy stunt are a bunch of low class scumbags regardless of what our resident shill says. Refusing to honor a wager made in good faith = welchers = thieves and should be placed on Shrink's shit list.

I have had a couple of bets voided by Gamebookers - with persistence, I got one of these voidances reversed.

They do void bets for reasons such as discussed: if you meant to bet on "Tarzan Smith" and they had "Tarzan Smyth", they would very possibly void the bet. And yes, this does suck.

However, I will say this about Gamebookers: they void both the winning and the losing bets on a particular match, since I was on the receiving end of one bet voidance where I got my losing bet refunded.

In the Fall, I sent SportsBookReview a fairly lengthy E-Mail outlining one of my bet voidances with Gamebookers. It was on the website for a few weeks, but has since been removed. Maybe Buzzsaw can find it and post it here.
