Find me one that showed this. He was up 6-8 in the summer but that was it. Tracking polls had Bush up a few in the weeks prior if I remember correctly.

From Rasmmussen website

"For polling data released during the week of September 28-October 3, 2008, the partisan weighting targets used by Rasmussen Reports will be 39.0% Democratic, 33.6% Republican, and 27.4% unaffiliated. For the preceding week, September 21-27, 2008, the partisan weighting targets were 39.0% Democratic, 33.5% Republican, and 27.5% unaffiliated."

yeah because what this country really needs is an inexperienced minority running it. As much as the media and clueless conspiracy types want to believe, its not going to happen

CAP, those numbers might appear skewed, but they accurately represent the political party breakdown of the voting public at large.

If a poll targeted and equal number of Repubs and Dems it would not be in balance with the actual voting population.

Here in Florida, last stats I saw (in 2006) had us at about 44.5% Democrat, 37.5% Republican and about 18% Indy.

The surge worked because we started bribing the Sunnis to stop killing people. Seriously.

uhhh....that's what they're doing.

they are weighing likely turnout (more dems will turnout this year the pubs)

it's why dems are always up by a few more in registered ...it's more drastic of a split then what they are weighing here
