tough loss identity...dont let others bring you down...lots of people on here LOVE when others fail on big game calls...they cant stand anyone but themselves getting the attention (this isnt directed towards anyone in particular by the way)

you should know by now, if you post a GOY, and you have the nuts to put it out there, you better deal with all the haters after if it fails

my problem is not with posting games or even game of the years. My problem is posting "game of the years" for a game so in question like this. Injuries, inconsistent play and officials made this game very tough to call.

As I said in a previous post, I didnt care if you took the Pistons or the Heat, there wasnt anything here to justify a GOY. We could just go out and call every game a GOY and be done with it

I couldn't have said it better myself. The sad thing is, people use this site for advice. They see thie "Game of the Year" meaning THIS IS YOUR STRONGEST PLAY OF THE ENTIRE YEAR OR SEASON. This was nothing more than a tout play. Bumping up the strength of it just because it is a high profile game. The entire team is injured and in question and yet this play is the strongest of the season...that is just bad handicapping and very misleading for the people that follow the plays.

Regardless of the side, there was no information or statistics available to make this a strong play for either side.

I would be interested to know your reasoning for making this THE SINGLE STRONGEST NBA play of the entire year. My guess is because you were 1-5 the last few days and were chasing. Maybe you can explain why this was the best play of the NBA season?

I think her GOY is not even the strongest play. He/she has another name for a stronger play than that.. i think it Lock and Load. You guys should be glad someone posts great plays like that... fading couldin't get any easier. But hey... we all know he/she loves attention.

I hope not...Lock and Loads went 0-2 on Wednesday. :icon_conf

But the Wednesday game would of had interesting angles and statistics available to make strong plays. This game tonight had injured players where it was impossible to handicap their playing ability. It was not possible to form a strong opinion on Miami with Wade's condition.

The last two days noone convinced me that Miami can win this game. I read about all the stats... home team covering like 80% of the time and things like that. Did people forget that Miami was crippled? Did they forget what team they were playing? The public was on Miami also but why? Home advantage? Shaq/Dunacan matchup? Did they forget that the player that helped them get there would be playing injured.

As a Packer fan i can be as square as anyone. Favre injured? Pffft this guy will win the game and cover the spread!

Well enugh of this... time to get some sleep. Now it's time to get ready for the finals. I will have to watch game 1 closely because i haven't seen these two teams play for a long time.

Goodnight.
