Going against the braves nada, but just went with my gut and took the Yanks and the Expos as underdogs tonight (partly this thread confirmed my choice), both for a nickel. Did well tonight playing team to score 1st- took all dogs, went 5-3 thanks to Milw(fav) 2nd pitch of the game HR.

Nice call on the Royals. I'm in a dogfight with my Astros play. Zambrano has'nt given up a thing since a shaky first, where an error hurt him for 3 runs. Right now bottom of 6, 3 to 1 Astros. If I can get Miller to pitch a scoreless 7th. I will take my chances with Dotel in the 8th and Wagner in the 9th. As far as the Braves go I think we both had that game pegged, no way can you bet against this team. I only wish I played them as my big play of the night.

i only wish minny could win,, zambrano aint bad.. i think he will have a nice career.. he is only 23, i think.. ramirez has an outstanding future as well.. he isnt a power pitcher but he appears to have learned alot from the veteran brave pitchers, already... the braves are too tough to bet against right now.. clearly the best team in baseball, i hate it that they will probably lose sheff and javy..

I guess Dusty Baker is a genuis, losing 3 to 1 top of 7 two outs man on first he lets Zambrano bat and bang he homers to tie game. Unbelievable.

wow, i missed it,, you are darned if you do and darned if you dont with the cubs,, ill still say this, they will somehow win the division,,, dusty isnt all that smart but he gets the most out of his players, and he is lucky,, he survived the first 60% of the season with a jumbled up team,, now with lofton and ramirez in the lineup, and when prior comes back,, and the central is weak, well (you never know)..

I like both closers to do their job. Who's better than Schmoltz? I am getting a feeling the White Sox are going on a tear, could'nt play them tonight at that price, but I will keep an eye on them.
