I just have one question..............where's the guy who put 10K on the Red Wings for game 7?????? I either guessing he skipped town as to avoid his guy, he committed suicide, or his wife/girlfriend killed him. Did any of you read that thread yesterday?? I guess he removed the thread as I couldn't find it................

On another note I am a big Pens fans and have to say I didn't give them much of a chance after the first 2 games, but it was clear to me that Detroit was tired last night!! They just didn't skate as crisply as they were in games 1-5. A good game and I am glad Pens brought the "A" game and Detroit was tired!

Hossa 2 goals? Hahahaha....egg on thee face of Mr. Mary Ann.

Pens wouldn't have won the cup if Hossa had stayed. He made the right decision as far as the Pens are concerned. That's life, what can I tell you.

Mike agrees with you, I felt fatigue was definitely a factor (was most evident) in game 4, imo. Bettman, the fool, handcuffed the older Red Wings with the pathetic final playoff schedule.

Penguins should send a bid thanks to Anaheim. They wore Detroit down, played a physical game demanding a lot from the Wings. Red Wings survived agasint the Ducks with Daniel's goal in game 7, 3 minutes left. They would not survive this one, even with Pavel back and Crosby out for much of the game.

fresh off the press, Mike comes clean:

"I thought we looked out of gas pretty much the whole series," said Wings coach Mike Babcock

Congrats Penguins. They certainly wanted to win more tonight and they deserved it.
Thanks MSU. By far, most of you guys have been all class, all year. Most! A few exceptions, but then, we have quite a few assholes ourselves. Thanks again.(<)<

I dont buy that theory. If they signed Hossa they may not have had the cash to pick up some of the players they did either last July 1st or at the deadline that contributed to their cup win.

I don't even believe Hossa made that bad a decision. even after losing the cup. He still got $7.45 mil. Played for a great franchise for a year, came out healthy, and will either resign with that same great club or sign a long term deal like he was offered last spring this time around. How bad can life really be playing for the Red Wings, a 1st class organization and being paid over $7 million a year. I wouldn't be hating that even blowing the chance at the cup.

Hey Bushay, I'll be in Detroit for the Steelers game in October. Want to hook up for a beer or 2 or 3, let me know. I'm in.<><>

I quit drinking a while back but check back with me around that time. Maybe the Wings will have a home game around that time we could check out. When its time to pick my tickets I'll be sure and see if a RW game coincides at around the same time.
