and one other thing. Is it me or are asian female card dealers the bitchiest dearlers in the joint? Whether I'm in Vegas, Reno, Tahoe, or the local indian casino's those chinese or vietnamese dealers don't say jackshit when you pull up a chair. And they never smile. They just deal, take or deliver the chips. Me? I'm a social guy. I lilke to enjoy my time at the card table. I like having fun, the whole table yelling when we win, and tipping favorablly when I go on a run too. So it would be in the interest of those grey toothed, non smiling bitches to actually say something to me when I play.

It's probably no wonder why you never seem em dealing the dice.

I've always gotten along with all the dealers at my local casino. Asian or not. But I do agree the Asians seem to be a little more drawn back till they got to know me.

I'm with you 3peet. Being at the table should be fun and getting excited when the table is hot. Last time I went to play all the pit bosses and dealers were telling everyone to keep the volume down and no cussing.. WTF? Haven't been back.

I think it has to do with their english, accent and ability to carry on conversation....it's a low-paid job...so they don't give a shit...i bet most of them rather be working somewhere else...

Here is some small detail's that you can use when you play the Next time.

In Baccarat, cards 2-9 are worth face value, 10s and face cards (J, Q, K) are worth zero, and Aces are worth 1 point. Players calculate their score by taking the sum of all cards 10, meaning that after adding the value of the cards the tens digit is ignored. For example, a hand consisting of 2 and 3 is worth 5 (2 + 3 = 5). A hand consisting of 6 and 7 is worth 3 (6 + 7 = 13 = 3) - the first digit is dropped because the total is higher than 10. A hand consisting of 4 and 6 is worth zero, or Baccarat (4 + 6 = 10 = 0). The name "Baccarat" is unusual in that the game is named after the worst hand, worth 0. The highest score that can be achieved is 9 (from a 4 and 5, 10 and 9, or A and 8, etc).

LOL, every once in a while I do when the subjects come up.
I play much more Craps now a days.

mainly because the places I stay at are not big with Asians , so they don't have the base like they use to.

The Mirage doesn't even have Mini Bac ... but they do have Baccarat tables in the High roller room.

I did like to play it in between my craps sessions and still do if the casino has action going.

Asians are superstitious because it is in their culture which also translates to gambling. Ever been to a chinse restaurant? you see that Buddha? You think it is for religion? Doubtful, That shit is more likely for good luck. Ask them some time, see if they tell you the truth.

It is just like in Baseball, superstition is just in that culture. Ball players don't' let people touch them a certain way, sit in their spots, user certain bats, certain jerseys, go Slump busting, Curse of the Bambino and so much more I don't even know.
