Nice approach but I hate the Yankees name being used for such dribble.....you're sucha "character" just like the guys on your Sox.

Good luck tonight....NOT!!!

I live near Beloit and remember Cecil being with Prince from the day he joined the Class A team in mid-season to the end of the year. Thought he was just being an over-protective father. The second season, Prince's first full year in A ball, never saw Cecil. Just figured he realized Prince didn't need him around anymore.

This is sad. Prince is a nice kid. He didn't have a great year this year, but now I know what part of that might be attributed to. I know the Brewers still are counting heavily on him...that was why they traded Richie Sexson.
It would be a shame if all this set Prince back...he must figure even if he makes the majors and gets a big contract, some of that, if not most might have to be spent bailing his old man out.
Gambling is great if you can control it. It's a ***** if you bring other people--who love you--down into the sewer with you.

Correct. And for the last 15 years or so prior to his death, Dick Vermiel, a lousy Coach, but a great man, was picking up every living expense Tose had.

This is very sad for me to read. The addicition of gambling is a powerful one, and is no different than alcohol or drugs...

I hope that if anyone can relate in some ways to Cecil, that they will get help before it is too late...
