A typical Sunday night at my house...I'm in the front room watching football/playing poker, and my wife is in the bedroom watching "Desparate Housewives!" It's all good, though, she's down with my work, though she'd rather have me finish college. I have to keep reminding her, "Why would I want to spend good money that will only enable me to make less money at a job I won't like?" lol. I started playing poker seriously 4 months before we got married. I put 100$ into Party Poker. 26 months later, between Poker and and Football, I've rolled that original 100$ into close to 40,000$ While going to school or working part time for most of that time. Yup, I'm braggin', lol. I've had bad, over 1000$ losses on 5-6 days over the course of that time, but she takes it in stride, like I try to, lol. It always helps to be a winner, and you are Mr. Newlywed, so your wife's overreaction is strange, and alarming! I'm not someone who thinks a wife is worth giving up your hobbies/money over, sorry to say! I'm too selfish! As I said, I have a supportive wife, who even paid the bills while I was going to school (or back to school, I should say, I'm 36), allowing me to build my bankroll.BOL:digit:
