JARBO---could you imagine if JMAN lived in Iowa?

There would definitely need to be an Intervention if Jman were here in Iowa.

Like they say - If you don't like the weather wait 10 minutes.

BTW - 95 Degrees today with 80% humidity.

Go to the RX and read others' posts about bad beats. Just blew $200 on video poker; only took me about 25 minutes to do it.

There's nothing like a hard run or intense bike ride to shake off the Bad Beat Blues.

If all else fails, :drink: :drink: :drink:

What works best for me is driving in my car and turning the music up VERY loud. I listen to some of my favorite songs and believe it or not, this works so well and my mood changes....

Any other ideas that have been tried and proven? :icon_conf

Thanks,

THE SHRINK

i usually gambler more.

I take a walk with the kids. The game will usually be out of my mind by the time we get back home.

wallow in self pity

most of the time I escape into a world of fantasy and self delusion filled with rage and violent thoughts. majority of the time i don't act on them but sometimes i do.

Question: how could anyone like Beatle Paul he's like warm milk and cookies. the most bland enterainer i've seen. than on top of everything he marries some peg-legged tree hugger that bosses him around.

That depends...If i made a fool of myself talking outta my arse before the game

and souding like i know one friggin thing about the teams, then i shut off my pc, tv (goodness i hate watching ESPN after i lose) and go into serious denial and pretend like nothing happened.. (especially after doing some really dumb shit like chasing your pending loss with an even dumber half time wager).. Violent online games tend to do the trick very well!!!!

If i didnt post my loss, then hey!!!! i try to find some more pathetic loser who mad a pre game arse of himself and pile on, then start capping my next days game....(thats of course when i had enough discipline to swallow my loss and didnt chase anything...) Losing only affects me when i do dumb shit or eat all the way into my profits all the way back into my original bank roll!!!
