As a conservative I would welcome her heartily.
But she doesn't believe in abortion. Whether she would vote to overturn Roe vs Wade is not known. But she would be a lightening rod to a lot of women in this country. I think that it's fair to say that the majority of women in America today believe that a woman has a right to determine what happens between her and her body. Even a large number of "conservative" women. Even Trump supporters. The fear mongers would be screaming at the tops of their lungs if Barrett was nominated. The noise would muffle most of the good Trump has done.
Right or wrong. It's a political reality.
So I think Trump would be best served by picking Kettridge, a similar Constitutionalist but less open to attack.
