Gameface doesn't fully beleive what he is saying. I showed him a way to increase his net worth by more than 70% in less than a month, and he declined to do what I suggested (which was to sell everything he owned and borrow every cent he could and bet it all on Bush to win the election). Now that I think about it if Gameface had good enough credit he could more than double his net worth.

Tradesports has "most pop votes" currently at Bush -113.

A couple weeks ago, Pinny had Rep vs. Dem, Rep O/U 51.1%...so that would be a 2.2% margin. But that was when the line was around Kerry +180 or so. It;s now Kerry +130 at Pinny re-opened after the debate. Pre-debate it was Kerry +148. So it dropped 18 cents. Still think Bush won the debate? The bettors don't think so.

Unless some major major event occurs, I believe it is almost inconceivable that either will win the pop vote by more than 3% at the very outermost. The EV should be very close as well, but that is a little more unpredictable because several states will be very close and it is possible one candidate could win most or all of the close ones.

I would bet lvery arge $$$ at even odds that the pop vote margin will be within 3%. Very large. Just trust me on this one.

Hit,

The media is 99% against Bush. What we see on TV is way off. Do what you want, Bush wins.

They scare the hell out of me!

My brother is of the belief that NO muslims should be allowed in the USA...................he may have a point.
Fish, isnt it Ironic that last week I offered you a room in my house (& of course the offer still stands)....

would you be surprised that although I am agnostic & I do not beleive in God... By birth... I am a Muslim?

"He may have a point?" sheesh.....

Pop in Michael Moore's movie "bowling for Columbine" & watch closely what he says about AMERICAN's being 'afraid'.... the take a long hard look in the mirror...

Although Bush did significantly better in the second debate, virtually every poll I have seen has Kerry WINNING the debate once again...

The linesmakers are finally catching up with the closeness of the race as measured by the odds going down after last night...

This figures to be a very tight election and I am looking forward to the Final Debate next week..

Dante,

That really shouldn't be surprising because if you take for example, a candidate receiving 15 Electoral Votes and declare the other guy the Winner, it's a net difference of 30...

It doesn't take much to swing these polls from one candidate to the other...

That's just how close it is....

The first poll on the second debate shows the results much closer than debate #1. According to a Gallup poll of 515 registered voters, Kerry won by 47% to 45%. When asked if they felt more favorable about the candidates after the debate, 38% were more favorable to Kerry and 20% were less favorable. For Bush the figures were 31% and 20%. For a challenger, these are good numbers. Historically, when an incumbent is running for reelection, the undecideds typically don't like the incumbent but are not sure if the new guy on the block is up to the job. His task is to convince them he can do it. In the past, the undecideds have ultimately broken 2 to 1 for the challenger.

Democrats rallied behind Kerry's performance by 87% to 8%, while Republicans rallied behind Bush's performance by a slightly smaller margin, 83% to 10%. But independents chose Kerry by a 16-point margin, 53% to 37%.

The reason the overall figures show only a slight advantage for Kerry, despite his greater margin among his own party and winning the independent vote, is that the sample of viewers had more Republicans (38%) than Democrats (32%) or independents (30%). Also, the sample of viewers support Bush over Kerry in the presidential race by 50% to 46%.

Looks like the odds are there now for a huge scalp as I got Kerry at plus 216 with Pinny before first debate...

It is so confusing as you said Dante, as to WHO to believe with the recent polls...

One thing for sure is that you can fasten your seat belts come Nov 2nd, because it may be a repeat of 4 years ago...

I believe it's that close...

Lastly, is your family amongst the only Democrats in Idaho??

I know that your State is very Republican by the way they have voted in past years...

Virginia is the same way as Kerry pulled all of his advertising out of here because it would be a big waste of his time and money....
