I think people paying such little taxes is actually stealing. Like Obama says, you didn't build everything and there are very hard people who work to make this a place where people can succeed. But acting like someone just goes out and makes tons of money with out utilizing the infrastructure, education, and security this country provides... is insane.
Other than that, I don't care about raising taxes... what we should be doing is deficit spending.
The fact you can look at a place like Wal Mart where the family members that didn't even build it have more money than the bottom 33% of Americans yet they are forcing workers to work less than a certain number of hours so they don't have to pay them healthcare, and act like they are suffering because of taxes is sickening.
The 400 wealthiest Americans have more money than the bottom 150,000,000 Americans combined. Half the country.
And they keep getting wealthier while continuing to fight against laborers, educators, and the poor. It's absolutely sickening. We have a GINI index that is amongst 3rd world countries. Last time the wealth gap was this wide was right before the Great Depression.
So many levels of stupid in this post, I don't even know where to begin.
Back to the "you didn't build that" shit? What exactly does this mean...that everyone who starts a business on a given road is forever indebted whoever built that road? Businesses already pay a shitload of taxes...that's their form of saying "Thanks" to the government for all that. What really is insane is for someone who was not there during the business inception and risk taking to suddenly declare themselves as recipients of the rewards of the success.
Other than that, you only want to raise taxes to punish successful people. Duly noted. And I certainly hope you voluntarily gave all your alleged 100k+ income to the feds last year...because if those numbers are somehow accurate, then you are one of 1%ers you and that fat tub of shit Michael Moore railed against.
Yeah, the 400 wealthiest Americans have an uneven amount of wealth compared to the 150mil. Now why don't you tell us which of those two groups pays more in taxes. If you want to talk about widening gaps, take a look at the tax revenue demographic in the last 20 years:
Next, you're seriously shocked that companies have decided to put more people onto part-time status with the implementation of Obamacare? Unless you've lived under a rock since its inception, conservatives predicted this would happen. Business owners usually aren't stupid...they can't suddenly absorb a giant new cost and just go on without skipping a beat. For someone who claims to know a lot about business, you really don't know a damn thing.
Finally, if someone's dream job is to work at Wal Mart, then they need to accept the consequences of that decision. I said I want everyone to have the opportunity to pursue their dream. There is nothing at all wrong with using Wal Mart as a stepping stone towards something bigger and better.
I now reminded myself why I don't bother responding to your posts anymore. You do nothing but whine proletariat rhetoric...and steamrolling your weak-ass arguments every single time is a waste of my time.
