I hate how the NFL refs can just make up shit on the fly.

Like the time Big Ben fumbled into the endzone and the Miami player comes out of the pile with the ball. Then the refs say it was inconclusive who recovered, so Pitt gets the ball back at the 2 yard line, and kicks the winning field goal.

Quite often, the refs just make up rules as they go along.

How about these young dumbass players learn to hold onto the ball?

Ball security. Very few ball carriers care about it one bit. Too busy trying to score a touchdown.

Same reason passes clank off receivers' hands. They are too worried about trying to make a flashy play; can't be bothered with actually looking the ball in.

It's why players like John Kuhn and Adam Thielen have cult followings of people who respect the way they play the game.

I like the young kid in Tennessee Corey Davis but when you jump from the five with the ball extended with one hand, nothing good is going to happen.

Started this season when Lions scored a TD vs Atlanta with 8 seconds left, & yes, the Lions player crossed the front of goal line but refs reversed it.

Oh I feel ya - I remember that game. I am the bad beat king. Trust me.

Instant replay has been my nemesis......to be honest, I should have lost quite a few bets if they had instant replay in the 90's......I hate instant replay, no matter what people think bout getting a play right. A lot of times with replay, refs svrew it up.anyway, the bastards don't even know what a catch is anymore.

I think what we love about CFB is what we hate about the NFL. The NFL D's are so good there aren't a lot of missed tackles or guys out of place. Guys missing plays and big chunk yardage plays in CFB is why we love it. It's more exciting.

Holy Crap.

I was just needing DET ATS.

I did HEAR there were some of you out there. And yes....You do land on quite a lotta Bad Beats but thats way "glass half full" cuz of course it suggests that you 'capped the game correctly.

I know this has been said before but teams should just throw the ball downfield deep almost every down and teach their receivers to sell the call. They would get a pass defensive interference call enough to move the ball all game.

I agree, I started noticing this last week. Every play seems to have a flag thrown

They should force you to throw the flag. Otherwise KEEP IT IN YOUR FUCKING POCKET.

This "looking for a reason to throw any flag possible" shit has got to stop.
