The Cubs have no off days after Monday so "sometime later" means after the regular season. Houston is off Sep. 22 but the Cubs are in NY that day.

Could get real sticky in that last series against MIL if the Cubs have it wrapped up by then.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

Thats a big if....the cubs are 2-8 in their last 10 and if you think they cruise into the playoffs you are dumber than I thought...no offense.

Lets say your cubs go into the last series and win all three....then they have to play because Houston will within 3 games....

How ever this works out the Cubs are doomed in the playoffs because a rested Mets team will easily take care of you guys.

Well you may get a break because if the Cubs have it clinched but the games matter for Houston in WC then the Cubs will just forfeit or tank.

But how about this. Last day of the season. Cubs have clinched by then. Houston @ Atlanta and Cubs @Milwaukee. Mil is let's say 91-70 and Houston is 87-71. If the Cubs and Astros win, then the Cubs have to travel to Houston. If the Cubs simply lose, then they don't.

All I'm saying is I don't wanna hear you whining if things go down in that way the last week of the season. Alright?

Stay safe, Max. :toast:

I guess they're leaving the door open to possibly play on Sunday and/or Monday if conditions (hopefully) permit.

Too bad the Astros weren't this excited to play in May-June.

If your going to make these bold statements you need to be more accurate...5.96374 %....:aktion033:missingte:aktion033

Even at 99%, I cannot use the word lock with the Cubs playoff chances.
