Yup, he is here for just this year but will be well worth it. You remember the last time the DBacks had an iffy offense and two aces with no bullpen? I think it was 2001 or something.

I'm fine with renting him. I wouldn't be too thrilled to pay a .230 hitter over 14 mill a year. Maybe that's just me

Its not like they gave up enough to hurt them anyways. Dallas is nothing special. They added the hitter they desperatly needed and didnt have to part with Max.

The DBacks have the worst OPS of all the teams in the National League and he is a monster there. Granted he Ks too much but the man is on base and they showed a crazy stat yesterday about how he has Kd 30% less in ABs with RISP.

Did you read what pickem posted about them wanting to get rid of O-dog? Have you heard anything else about that? I know he's been hurt the tail end of the last two years but that guys glove is on another level. You can't just find a glove like that. And he's batting over .300. I don't get that move if they do it.

I havent heard one thing about it, and I listen to KTAR all day long. Its not like they even have a young middle infeilder prospect coming up that is worth anything. They dont want to live with Ojeda and O-dog is the heart and soul of this team. I know pickem found that on ESPN, but I think sometimes Insider just pulls shit out of their ass to keep people paying to be "ahead of the news." They cant get rid of this guy, he is their cornerstone along with Jackson on the offensive side.
