Tampa Bay Downs - Race #6 - Post: 3:02pm - Maiden Claiming - 6.0 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $14,000 Class Rating: 68

Rating: Golden DollarGolden DollarGolden DollarGolden Dollar

#7 THE LOVE MONKEY (ML=4/1)
#10 THE LAST ROCKET (ML=8/1)

THE LOVE MONKEY - Rice drops him down to this class. You don't need too much more handicapping knowledge to figure that this animal has a darn good chance at this level. Trying to win for the first time moving from a turf race to the main track. I think Rice will have him in good shape for today's affair. THE LAST ROCKET - You'll be making money left and right by turning your cash onto this rider/conditioner combination. Going on Lasix for the first time. While a general handicapping angle, it's still quite important to factor in.

Vulnerable Contenders: #2 SAVIO (ML=3/1), #1 MR. AWESOME ACT (ML=5/1), #4 SPACE TRIP (ML=6/1),

SAVIO - I normally try to beat this kind of chalk. Long layoff and no drop in level of competition. This steed ran a run-of-the-mill speed figure last time around the track. He shouldn't run better and will probably get beat in today's race running that figure. MR. AWESOME ACT - Pace makes the race. Hard for this early speedball to be able to handle the suicidal fractions from the rest of this field. This horse hasn't been close in either of his last couple of efforts. This colt garnered a speed fig in his last event which likely isn't good enough in today's event. SPACE TRIP - Couldn't make up ground whatsoever on September 28th. Hard to invest in this time out at the expected odds. This colt hasn't had any recent favorable outcomes in sprint affairs. Tough to invest in him in this event.

RACE #9 - AQUEDUCT - 4:20 PM EASTERN POST

6.0 FURLONGS DIRT MAIDEN FILLIES AND MARES THREE YEARS OLD AND UPWARD $25,000.00 CLAIMING $31,000.00 PURSE

#5 CORAMOSS
#6 WHIMSEY'S GIRL
#8 NAUGHTY GRACIE
#4 KOOL CHARLI

#5 CORAMOSS takes a class drop (-6), and has produced "POWER RUN PERFORMANCES" in each of her last five outings, hitting the board in four straight. Jockey Jose Ortiz and Trainer Bruce Levine send her to the post ... they've hit the board with an impressive 68% of their entries saddled as a team to date. #6 WHIMSEY'S GIRL, the morning line favorite, is the overall speed and pace profile leader in this maiden field today, and comes off a "POWER RUN PLACE" finish in her last start, missing her "diploma" by less than a length in a determined attempt to break her maiden.

Balmoral: Friday 12/4 Analysis
By Jeremey Day

DRF HARNESS

Race 4 - $3,853 Pick Five Carryover

Race 9 - $15,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Jeremey’s Pick Five Ticket:

5,6 / 5 / 3,4,5 / 3,4,8,9,10 / 6,7 = $30

Best Bet (51 - 84 / $178.60): HTH LYNN ROY (3rd)

Spot Play: LOCKPORT LEGEND (8th)

Race 1

(8) YES WE DID takes a big drop down in for a tag and should offer value. (9) MOON BAY DANCER is the horse to beat at this level; short price. (7) BETTOR'S BABE has been very competitive against similar but is best used underneath.

Race 2

(9) LOLA GRAM filly owns decent closing ability in a weak and inconsistent field. (7) SHOE SHOW lagged the gate last week before making up good ground the last half of the mile; threat. (10) NASHVILLE NASTY just beat this bunch last week but is stuck with a very tough post.

Race 3

(3) HTH LYN ROY the pacer's line is deceiving as he was really charging hard late last out; big chance. (2) AJ'S PRINCE gets sent out for a low percentage pilot but did race well last week. (6) MACHO BURBON pacer is probably the fastest in the field if he minds his manners.

Race 4

(6) GOSSIP MODEL lightly raced filly was roughed up last week from the ten hole. If the 3-year-old stays covered up most of the mile she's a huge threat. (5) GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS mare makes her third start back off a short layoff and appears to be primed for a better effort. (10) FRONTIER SARAH is 1 for 24 lifetime but is more than capable of hitting the ticket underneath.

Race 5

(5) TAYLOR TOT filly was an easy winner in her debut and should only get better with a start under her belt. (4) PRINCESS GIRL was no match for the top choice last start but owns wins at this level. (9) MAPLE GROVE JOE never got into the mile last week but is capable with a good setup.

Race 6

(5) SMOKE RINGS pacer was shot out of a cannon when they hit the top of the stretch last week. If the gelding races like that again its lights out. (4) PILLAGE AND BURN is one of the faster horses in the race especially with a smooth trip; threat. (3) MR PICKPOCKET is the sleeper in the race making his third start back off a long layoff.

Race 7

(3) ODDS ON DOMINICA has been off over a month but a good effort puts her close. (9) HOOSIER'S FANTASY was the driver's choice of five and is versatile. (8) BABYSHOEBUYER will look to make it three straight at this level.

Race 8

(7) LOCKPORT LEGEND takes a huge dropdown in for a tag against significantly weaker. The pacer was tough to hold in a hole last week and will likely be headed for the front early. (6) IF I DIDN'T DREAM mare showed two weeks ago was no fluke with a really nice victory last week. The 4-year-old probably has more to offer. (3) BB ROCKETTE has been knocking on the door in her last few but might have missed her opportunity for a win; use underneath.

Race 9

In a wide open and evenly matched race, (2) NORTHERN DALI has been racing gamely and just needs to be put into the race for a chance. (1) PARTY HANGOVER mare elected to sit in last week costing herself a shot at winning. The 6-year-old gets the best post and just needs a trouble-free trip; driver's choice. (10) OUR MISS LILY was the driver's choice and will likely be used aggressively.

Race 10

(5) GRAVELSINMYTRAVEL closed big ground last out off dull cover. The pacer bumps up in class but will be tough to keep off the ticket with a similar effort. (1) OFFICIALLY YOURS was a game winner last week at this level; threat. (3) JACKSON BERLOW rarely wins but has been knocking on the door; command a price.

Race 11

(8) FOX VALLEY GYPSY has been off a few months but comes into the race off an impressive qualifier. (9) TOGETHERFOREVER pacing mare is capable of better and will probably turn it around one of these weeks at a price. (4) KIMBERLY R needed her last two starts off a scratch; use underneath.

Race 12

(9) SISTER'S KEEPER mare had a nightmare trip last week and raced deceptively well. (2) AHLBBACK YANKEE is probably the horse to beat but will offer another low price off a dull effort. (1) WINDY CITY DIANE gets good post relief and should be much closer turning for home.

DRF HARNESS

Race 4 - $50,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

20-CENT PICK 5: 1,4,6,7/5,8,10/1,2,5,7/1,3/4,8 = $38.40

EARLY PICK 4: 1,2,3/4,5,8/1,6,8,10/5 = $36

LATE PICK 4: 3,4/1,2,4,6/1,2,3,6/2,4 = $64

MEET STATS: 119 - 378 / $601.90 BEST BETS: 19 - 34 / $60.60

SPOT PLAYS: 8 - 34 / $99.80

Best Bet: MUCH ADOO (5th)

Spot Play: MAGICAL POCKETS (6th)

Race 1

(4) GREYSTONE LADYLIKE was forced first up last week after starting from the rail and she tired late. She stands a better chance of getting a good trip on or near the pace here starting from the middle of the gate in this shorter field. (6) DAZZLING ROCKETTE drops a level and should be heard from here. (1) BAROCKEY didn't look the greatest last week. She is worth betting against to win here again if she takes a lot of action in the win pool.

Race 2

(10) THE MURMURING PAN is obviously the best filly in this series. The 10-hole might boost the price a bit here. (5) TYMAL FIREITUP looks next best and will likely be the one the choice has to catch turning home. (8) ASPEN CALIFORNIA has raced well the past two and has a puncher's chance at upsetting the top two here.

Race 3

(2) YES YOU CAN stayed in last week and closed late for 3rd. Filion should get more aggressive in this easier spot. (5) OUR HOT MAJORETTE was an easy winner vs. lesser but is improving rapidly and is in great form. (7) RIDE AWAY SHARK likely blasts to the front here on the class drop and tries to bottom out the field.

Race 4

(3) GAME ON HANOVER exits two quick miles and she wasn't far back in either of those. She fits well here. (1) QUIT SMOKING NOW was just short last week and he is usually good for a couple or three good efforts in a row when he reaches the top of his form cycle; using. (2) HER NAME IS LOLA has raced well since returning from a break and is another to consider for Pick 4 and 5 tickets.

Race 5

(4) MUCH ADOO has been a different filly the past two starts following a barn change; top call in the Autumn Series final. (8) DOUBLE OLIVES should get a favorable pace setup for her deep closing style and is a good one to toss in Pick 4 bets at a price. (5) ANISTON SEELSTER was wildly overbet last week in the second leg when finishing 2nd. McNair is likely headed to the front early here, though, so don't leave her out completely.

Race 6

(6) MAGICAL POCKETS was hung out a long way last week yet was still in there fighting at the end. A better trip gets it done here. (10) MUSICAL SPELL went a long way on the front and is a threat at a price here. (8) TAROT is another that had a long trip that is capable of rebounding in this spot.

Race 7

(5) DUSTYLANE MSVICKIE ships in sporting an impressive win streak in the Maritimes. The only concern is the time she has missed. (9) CAMPS BAY has been racing decently when she has stayed flat and she's in with a decent shot here. (8) FOXY DANCIN ships in and goes for owner/driver Allard who always drives aggressively at this meet.

Race 8

(3) MISS COCO LUCK got her trip last time but couldn't catch a game winner late. She should get her preferred pocket trip again then launch an assault late on likely leader (4) BROOKDALE SHADOW, who was a predictable winner last week now steps up again. (5) BET YA continues to chip away grabbing minor shares which is likely here again.

Race 9

(1) MARQUIS VOLO broke early last time but gets his regular driver back here and can rebound. (2) KAMIKAZE LINDY set some solid fractions and won easily. He's the one to beat. (6) FLEET BUMBLEBEE has raced well in both starts over this track and can't be dismissed.

Race 10

(6) ARTISTIC MADISON went sideways before the start and lost several lengths which cost her all chance last time. She gets her regular pilot back here which could make all the difference. (2) MARQUISE DE SARAH finally hit the winners circle last week and she is capable of stringing several wins in a row together when she's on her game. (1) MARLEE B rarely wins two straight but could get another great trip on cover here.

Race 11

(2) ADDISON BAY took crazy action at the windows last week then found herself on excess cover that didn't advance. She drops and should be much more effective here. (4) AKISSFROMTHEART has some sneaky good form at London in the top class and picks up a hot driver; using. (7) MACHET ROCKET left hard last week then took a shuffle. She is a threat to lead these on a merry chase. (9) AMERICAN GRACE closed okay in her Woodbine debut and can make this ticket at a price. (1) LAST MINUTE CINDY should go better here starting from the inside.

Meadowlands: Friday 12/4 Analysis

DRF HARNESS

Race 1 - $30,000 Guaranteed Pick Five Pool

Race 3 - $25,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

Race 8 - $50,000 Guaranteed Pick Four Pool

MEET STATS: 27 - 77 / $156.80 BEST BETS: 2 - 6 / $7.40

Best Bet: TAG UP AND GO (13th)

Spot Play: ICOMMANDMYSPIRIT (7th)

Race 1

(6) CURFEW has put together two quality qualifiers with hobbles added since moving into the Ron Burke barn. We've seen others this year leave the Svanstedt barn and show improvement. (7) MAGENTA MAN bested the top choice in his most recent qualifier. Perhaps Team Miller has this guy figured out. (3) EXPLOSIVE LYNN has a chance but seems better used underneath as a rookie filly facing sophomore boys.

Race 2

(8) CRAZED N LINDY was handled patiently and gave his all versus a horse with a cleaner trip. I expect he'll be kept closer to the action this time around. (3) THE B STREET FAN isn't as good as the top one but seems to have found a good spot to get aggressive. (7) JACK'S REEF has been racing reasonably well; shot if the top one falters.

Race 3

(4) MISS PANTHERS moves into the white-hot Kyle Spagnola barn and faces a rather blank field. (2) WINDSUN GALLIANO is years removed from some really good miles here but his form appears good enough to consider. (10) FOX VALLEY LEGEND faced a top foe in that recent qualifier; could get a piece. (3) INNER PEACE gets a better post to work with this week. If the top pick doesn't wake up in a big way, this guy has a shot.

Race 4

(3) PASSING JETTA finds the best spot she has seen in a long time. This is one uninspiring bunch and you may want to hit the ALL button if you can narrow down the other legs of the multi-race exotics. (4) GOVERNOR VICTORY went some nice miles a few starts back. (8) ES MUCHO figures to try to leave the gate in this spot. (11) SCORCHER HALL likely wins this race if he stays flat. That is a HUGE IF.

Race 5

(4) MARMARIA wasn't going anywhere from post nine last time. She moves inside this week and faces a softer NW5000 group. (5) LARJON LAURA also gets post relief, adds Gingras and won't find a better spot. (8) COVER MODEL ships in sharp for a Spagnola, just not Kyle.

Race 6

(4) IN NOMINE PATRI is clearly in an easier spot this week and one where Hanney can gun to the front. (8) UVA HANOVER would be the clear chalk from an inside post and could still be the one to beat out here. (7) DETROIT RAPPER is plenty sharp and dangerous. (3) HYWAY MARCUS kept up nicely with a better foe in his recent qualifier.

Race 7

(6) ICOMMANDMYSPIRIT is a quality mare with legitimate excuses for her recent lack of success. David Miller hops in the bike this week and I'm expecting a strong showing. (3) GEISHA GIRL N has been knocking on the door of late and perhaps the switch to the big track will cure her troubles on the win end. (1) SPIRIT OF DESIRE is capable of going some good miles and there isn't much early speed signed on against her tonight. (4) MOREMERCY BLUECHIP didn't fire in her Burke barn debut versus the best 3-year-old filly pacers in the sport; more now? (7) NOT BEFORE EIGHT was a bit better last time and could step forward again.

Race 8

(9) HANDOVER BELLE was supposed to retire after the TVG Final but gets another chance to go out on top. She should be flying off the gate and take these a long way. (3) OPULENT YANKEE qualified back very well. I wouldn't be afraid to take a shot with him off the bench. (7) WAITING ON A WOMAN can't possibly keep the streak alive for Spagnola against this crew, can he?

Race 9

(8) JUNGLE GENIE N looked like the real deal last week and despite the choice by Gingras to pick (4) SOLID QUEEN, the fact that Vallee even listed him shows this horse has a big shot. Take the price on this guy. Solid Queen took care of business a week ago and the new driver shouldn't hurt any. (6) JUST SAYIN has picked up her game with Lasix added and was David Miller's choice of three.

Race 10

(4) SHERKIN HANOVER hasn't been doing much recently but seems like a good fit with tonight's group. Barn has started the meet off well and maybe the new set of hands behind the lines will make the difference. (1) RIVER RUNS THRU IT was used and tired off the bench; eligible to show more. (9) PANCAKES comes off a big mile but drew poorly this week.

Race 11

(4) GAME OF DREAMERS rallied well with no shot in her first start on Lasix. The post is better this week and she should be closer to the action. (6) GALARINA picks up Gingras and will take plenty of tote action. I'm using her but the win price won't be worth it. (2) MOJARRA HANOVER is capable in a spot like this given a good trip.

Race 12

(5) ULSTER will win if he trots the entire mile. (1) CELEBRITY STIMULUS should sit close and take home a second place check unless the top one blows up. (4) SOAPY SAP just keeps chugging along at age 12; using underneath.

Race 13

(8) TAG UP AND GO put in an even mile in his first start since August. He drops to the basement condition tonight and it should be all systems go at odds-on. (4) GREY ICE adds Yannick to the equation and should be on the move early in the mile. (5) XTATIC HANOVER broke in his first start for Ron Burke but shouldn't be completely tossed yet. (1) SHOOT THE THRILL is fast enough to menace if he minds his manners.

Yonkers: Friday 12/4 Analysis
By Brewster Smith

DRF HARNESS

MEET STATS: 237 - 1131 / $1,648.70 BEST BETS: 28 - 95 / $121.70

Best Bet: DEREK DELIGHT (2nd)

Spot Play: LYONS SHADOW (5th)

Race 1

(3) FIRSTCLASSFLIGHT showed life in her latest; can move forward with a favorable trip. (1) CNDIANA JONES was nailed for win honors last week; could atone. (8) BAD NIGHT MARE was late on the scene to grab the victory recently; post hurts but is very capable.

Race 2

(1) DEREK DELIGHT gets the best of the draw and this gal can get the job done down the road. (2) BAD GIRL VEGAS is back inside and that might be what she needs to take this; big threat. (3) LET HER ROCK moves down in class and could make some noise in deep stretch.

Race 3

(4) M A REFLING makes her return to Yonkers and was very game upstate last out when she broke at the start and made a great recovery; poised to boss these. (1) QUICKSILVERCANDY A Sharp qualifier at Monticello makes this gal a strong contender. (2) LITTLE MERMAID N showed good early zip but tired in deep stretch last out; could have a say in the outcome.

Race 4

(3) MAGIC MANNY Gelding has been quite sharp based on his last three tries; can put it all together tonight with a fine-timed drive from Carlson. (2) ROCK SONG just missed the victory in his most recent outing; main danger. (4) DOUBLE YOUR BET has tactical speed and good to see Bartlett at the helm; watch out.

Race 5

(7) LYONS SHADOW Sharp victory in her last start. Pacing miss now leaves from the 7-hole, but her form is quite good enough to make it two straight. (3) I DO IT MYSELF gets post relief and that could help her cause; maybe. (2) ASHOK ACE has put in three fine efforts that puts this gal right in the exotics mix; beware.

Race 6

(5) REQUEST FOR PAROLE Clearly this mare is knocking at the door based on her last three seconds in a row; ready to strike for gold tonight. (4) GALLIE BYTHE BEACH closed strongly for the place spot at the Meadowlands last time out; big threat against these. (8) SELL A BIT N is on a roll scoring her fourth straight victory, so don't sell her short from the 8-hole.

Race 7

(7) AMERICAN TOWER was sent down the road by Buter last out for all the glory; gets a tough slot to work with, but he is clearly sharp enough to take down another. (5) DAVID THE SAINT raced evenly in his latest; main danger. (2) DANCINGWITHDELIGHT closed well to grab the show spot last out; not out of this.

Race 8

Will try (6) TYLER to get back into the winning groove; showed good pace in his latest and with a favorable trip, he can make tonight a winning one. (2) ONTHECLOCK HANOVER got the job done down the road in his last start; capable of the repeat. (3) MONTREAL PHIL Sharp in his last four tries; must be considered.

Race 9

(4) IDEAL RACE rallied strongly to nail down the place spot last week; has every right to mow these down for all the marbles. (2) UNCLE GOODFELLOW put in a nice run in his last try; main danger. (7) FITS Z TAM has wheeled off four straight scores; post hurts but could contend with these.

Race 10

(6) LA FIESTA is knocking at the door based on her last two trips to the post; seems to be ready to put in her best tonight with Kakaley at the controls. (5) KAITLYN RAE has fine speed and fits well in here; dangerous. (2) ELM GROVE INARUSH Very game for the victory in her last try; watch out again.

Race 11

(5) MEDUSA Good to see trainer Burke moves this gal down the ladder; with a fine-timed drive from Brennan, this mare can get the job done. (2) FOR THE LADIES N Another one that is knocking at the door; main danger. (3) IMAGE OF FELICIA Game effort for the show spot last out; don't overlook.

Race 12

(3) ALL ABOUT KISSES has put in two nice seconds in a row. Pacing mare is very capable of getting the job done against this select group. (2) DUNE IN RED Down the road victor against lesser company last time out; could be a factor despite the rise in class. (8) CINAMONY was second best in her last trip to the post. She could handle the 8-hole, so watch out.

BUCKS at PISTONS 7:35 PM

Take: PISTONS -6.5

Revenge is generally not a really meaningful factor in pro sports. It carries far more weight for me in the college ranks, where receiving potential emotional advantages can pay dividends.

But every now and then, a previous result will get my attention and that’s the case this evening as the Pistons host the Bucks. This one should be plenty meaningful for Detroit.

The teams have met just once thus far and on that particular night, the Pistons played the worst game of the season to date. And talk about a collision course, Detroit also ran into the Bucks on a rare evening where that side could virtually do no wrong.

The numbers in that game were really lopsided. The Pistons shot it terribly. They hit only 34% for the entire game and were a putrid 6/28 from beyond the arc. As for the Bucks, they nailed their attempts at a 52% clip and were also a deadly 9/13 on threes. Greg Monroe’s first appearance against his former team was outstanding and Milwaukee totally dominated the battle.

I don’t think we’ll see a rerun of that result tonight. Reggie Jackson comes into this game on a ridiculous mini-tear for the Pistons. Jackson had a horrible game in that loss to the Bucks, and the forward combo of Marcus Morris and Ersan Ilyasova registered a mind-numbing four points in nearly 50 minutes of action.

The Pistons have been a cover machine at home, with a stellar 21-8 ATS ledger over the last 29 at the Palace. The Bucks have been pretty lousy everywhere, but they’ve been at their worst recently when playing on the road. It’s true that Milwaukee has had the number of the Pistons lately with seven straight spread wins in the series. But that’s not going to sway my assessment of this game.

This will be one time where I think the revenge angle has a decent chance to work and I’m expecting a solid showing by Detroit tonight. The number isn’t what I’d call unreasonable, and I’m going to be looking to cash a ticket tonight with the Pistons.

(509) HOUSTON ROCKETS VS (510) DALLAS MAVERICKS

Take: Over

Reason: Your Bonus Play for Friday, December 4, 2015 is in the NBA scheduled contest between the Rockets and Mavericks in Dallas. In case you haven't noticed Houston isn't playing any defense despite a coaching change. The Over is 5-2 in the Rockets last 7 games following a straight up win, plus s 9-4 over on the road against a team with a home winning percentage of greater than .600. Houston is on a 3-1 run over the total allowing over 111 points in 3 of them. The Dallas Mavericks have plenty of scoring punch and love to run at home. Wesley Matthews returned to Portland for the first time since signing with Dallas as a free agent and helped the Mavericks rally past the Trail Blazers 115-112 Tuesday night. Deron Williams had a season-high 30 points and Dirk Nowitzki added 28. Play Houston/Dallas Mavericks Over the total.

Northern Illinois vs Bowling Green

5* Bonus Play on Bowling Green -12

Northern Illinois was always going to be in trouble in this matchup against a high-scoring Bowling Green team after the Huskies lost starting quarterback Drew Hare for the season back in early November. Now Northern Illinois is in grave danger after backup quarterback Ryan Graham went down last week, and third string QB Tommy Fiedler is expected to start.

Falcons are putting up 44 points per game and well over 550 yards of total offense - mostly through the air. UNI is going to have to try to keep up, but we're not convinced they can given the state of their passing game. Huskies lost outright last week against an average Ohio U team, and face a much tougher opponent this time around. Weather is a non-factor with this game being played indoor (Ford Field in Detroit), which only helps BG's chances of lighting up the scoreboard. This line is a bit too high for us to release as a premium selection, but we do expect the Falcons to win this one by double-digits! 5* Bonus Play on Bowling Green.

Lakers vs Hawks

5* Bonus Play Atlanta Hawks

The Lakers ended a seven-game skid with a 108-104 win at Washington two days ago after handing the 76ers their first win of the season the night before. This will be their third road-game in four nights, and they're 4-16-1 ATS in their last 21 games playing on one day of rest. The Hawks have split their last eight games and are looking to bounce back from a 96-86 home-loss to Toronto Wednesday. They led by as much as 17 in the third quarter before the Raptors rallied, and they're 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a double-digit loss at home and have covered the spread in five of the last seven when hosting the Lakers.

GO HAWKS!
