the cub fans i know are still waiting for shawon dunston to show plate discipline. he walked every 95 plate appearances. he came into the league swinging in 1983 and went out the same way.

Listening to weei sports radio in Boston today riding around...people are calling in and ready to jump off the tobin bridge because Arod went to the yanks....word has it the Sox aren't interested in Soriano because of potential headaches and may be too Manny like.

Sure money had a lot to do with the A ROD trade, but still if he was the franchise shortstop that many think he is, then they (Rangers, and Mariners) would have kept him. I know he is very good, but he still puts his pants on one leg at a time, like the reast of the players in MLB. The jury is out on the trade, and only time will tell how it will effect things in the AL East.

Yeah thats the only saving grace...Sox got Pedro,Schilling, Lowe,Wakefield and Kim for starters pretty formidable with a solid closer in foulke....The equipment truck left for for florida today..only city in the country that has a picture of equipment truck in the newspapers.
