OBVIOUSLY you are not familiar with the DC area. During the day, the capitol area
IS ONE HUGE TRAFFIC JAM. Street traffic is usually gridlocked from sunup to sundown.

Emergency vehicles (Capitol cops, Secret Service, ambulances, etc.) drive on the sidewalks
during high-priority runs. They have no other choice .

No, I'm not kidding or making this up. Ask ANYONE familiar with the immediate area
surrounding the WH, within a radius of a few miles.

THAT is why the US Freedom truckers are simply clogging THE HIGHWAYS LEADING INTO
the capitol....just as the Canadian truckers backed-up the USA traffic -- here in Detroit, MI --
all the way past the Ambassador Bridge for several miles....leading to hours-long traffic jams!

The DC area is being HUGELY affected in Maryland and Northern Virginia. Our USA truckers
are INDEED achieving their goals!

Lived in DC for almost three years in Cathedral heights actually and driven the beltway many times the 495 is slow always.
Street traffic isn't that bad if you avoid the rush hours...From downtown I'd go up 16th then hang a left around Mt Pleasant then up to Mass ave hang a right and home. I never saw cops driving on side walks.. ever..Maybe at the capital but it's basically a huge park with tons of open space. Don't try to bullshit me about DC and yes you are kidding.

I doubt you know anything about Northern Virginia or Maryland either.
