none of this matters to me today personally , its my children that are going to be adults someday that this
sort of pushback now, will hopefully benefit if people speak up and stand up for their rights.
thnks for sharing metro, and ive highlighted a part i agree 100%

again, i was for the protest. We disagree as to the length of it/extent/etc. all good

what hopefully comes out of this is that voters see things differently, or at least make an effort. Got the pushback, lots of angry Canadians , clearly--this type of shit is very un-Canadian.

a) Businesses were shut again early Jan, lol. Are voting Canadians okay with provincial/federal leaderships that thought locking down small businesses with treatments available/vaxx available was a fair . balanced option? Keep in mind McDonalds, LCBO, Walmart, Costco etc all left open

VOTE agasint them.

b) Are Canadians okay with how Ford/Trudeau handled the protests turned blockades/occupations?

Keep in mind, trudeau/ford do not like each other and didn't work with each other. Both were deer in the headlights. Few highlights here;

- Trudeau left with his family to an undisclosed residence prior to the truckers arriving. Why do that? Instead of speaking to the mayor of ottawa/police chief/ford. Having a plan early, to be pro-active
-early in this shit Parliament was pleading with him to have discussions- like a angry little kid he said no, advisors must have knocked some sense into him and he showed up
-further escalation as Ambassdor bridge was then closed for business due to blockades and he was pressed for answers-- he had the audacity to tell Canadians that he doesnt have provincial jurisdiction-- what a leader, eh?a private citizen and the mayor of Windsor took care of Ambassdor bridge
-as citizens in Ottawa plea for normalcy and behind the 8-ball he then takes extreme measures to get her done. Ford could be found scarfing down a Bic Mac in North Bay

can any fair minded Canadian think a) and b) were handled well?

hopefully the good that comes from this, for me at least, is both r gone. we will see, get ready for the spin . Also, we all see things through different lenses. Mine is heavily business weighted , some dont see it that way.

Trudeau says MPs who vote against the Emergencies Act indicate that "they don’t trust the government to make incredibly momentous and important decisions"

This is either the end of
@JustinTrudeau
politically, or it is the end of Canada politically. And right now, Trudeau is doing everything he can to save himself, even if it means burning the country down in the process.

The Emergencies Act carries 185 in favour, 151 against. They really just want surivellance and financial measures in this act to remain .

The govt has stolen $3M from 79 people so far about $40,000 per person with these measures. Not even enough for a down payment on a home.

Canada, our neighbor, closest ally and trading partner, has fallen into a lawless, leftist tyranny where civil liberties/property rights have been eradicated for many citizens. You can be sure Biden administration, which explicitly encouraged Trudeau's tyranny, is taking notice.
