Eek at times I do take it seriously, depending on the topic and the exchanges in a given thread. Not always though. It's often a time killer when I'm stuck doing other work at the PC. I don't really mind a volley of barbs, as long as they are good-natured.

You must take it somewhat seriously yourself, considering you spend quite a bit of time in here.

There's plenty of serious political places on the net.

You will never find me posting at any of them, only in here, the South Park political zone.

People who really do take politics seriously move on from here eventually, like Xpanda with her Libertarian stuff.
