Herd immunity would've been a disaster
Sweden is doing significantly worse than the other Nordic countries and even their approach is hardly full herd immunity as many large gatherings aren't permitted.
Once the virus hits the shore, the economy is basically torched. No policy really changes that, just varying degrees of torched at best.
Why people don't understand this after 2 months, shrug...
I was fine with a month shut down. I think it is time to get things started now though. We needed to figure out what we were dealing with. I'm curious what you believe we should be doing. You haven't really stated much other than covid is more serious than we thought at first when people were down playing it. I think that is true but it is also a bit over hyped. So, at this point what are you thinking we do going forward? Stay locked down? If so, for how long at what does that entail?
