Glad to see you aren't superstitious. I, on the other hand, would never do something like that and am insane when it comes to these things full well knowing it has no effect.
My wife re-arranged the furniture mid-week during football season. I had a bad feeling about the upcoming game and when it wasn't going well during the first half I re-arranged it back the way it was. My team won.
After wearing a different shirt for the US game, I went back to the same 1994 blue jersey I wore for the Ghana game and have worn it for each game since. Needless to say it will be on again Sunday. While in Milan some guy came up to us and "gave" my wife a free bracelet he made, then tied one on my wrist as well. Followed by him asking for a "donation". Fearing bad karma I gave him 5 euros. Italy beat Australia, now I am hoping the stupid thing doesn't fall off before 2 pm Sunday.
My wife went to pick up my daughter at the end of regulation against Germany and got home at the start of the 2nd OT, 14 minutes later I taught her to say Forza Italia, only she said "No, Forza Natalia" (her name). Needless to say, I will be watching the game with my daughter on Sunday.

Both my son and I,have worn the jerseys
we had on when the Azzurri beat Germany 4-1 in that friendly a few months ago.Since that victory, both of us agreed that we'd wear these same jerseys on gameday's throughout the World Cup.

Nice run here Sal. I'm on the Italians to win tonight. They have the best defense in the world right now. Buffon is no buffoon as he will do well against le Bleu. I was going to put a lot on the France Team Total under 0.5 but I felt that Henry or Zidane could get a lucky goal in there somehow.
