I play in a big pool from some guy in the Northeast. Cost is $20 and they have around 400 people. Winner take all. Ties at end are split evenly. If you, or anyone, else wants in let me know how to reach you and I will forward the email. He uses a website to run the pool.

Yep...100% agreed. Just try to pick whatever mismatches you have now and survive another week since the complexion of a team changes as a season goes on. I'll happily take as close to a guaranteed win as I can every week, and I don't think the Saints are a stone cold lock in Week 1 (I have a really funny feeling about that game...think Carolina against San Diego a few years back). But I got cute last year...tried to pick two teams I thought were sleepers, and both lost in Week 1. I'm not doing that again.
Btw, killarsox...if you (or anyone else) wants in on one of these, PM me. I've been in the same one for two years running now. It's $10 per entry, enter as many teams as you like, all picks submitted on a web site...and winner takes all. Last year, there were something like 980 people in this suicide pool, so the person who won it took home close to 10k. I don't know the guy who manages this pool personally...I got in through a friend who does. But I'll vouch that it's 100% legit. Anyone who wants specifics, let me know via PM...
