I said earlier this week that the TV ratings are going to suffer without Tiger. ESPN's ratings have dropped significantly without him. I love to watch golf no matter who is playing. But golf purists have to admit that the game just isn't the same without Tiger. It is a sport that relies more on one individual than any other sport. If Nicklaus or Palmer were playing today, it would be the same if they weren't playing. The proof is in the pudding. ESPN's ratings are down nearly a million viewers. kinda doubt the Masters will ever get cancelled so who cares what the ratings are or if Tiger is playing...
