One man's opinion... who put's in more work than Kobe? Name the twenty players (if you can).

I mean how do I know or how do you know and that's the point of my comment? We don't know who works the most when the cameras aren't on the players. We don't know who shoots the most free throws or jumpers.

For example (and there are many like him) Chauncey Billups was drafted very high and in his first few years was not very good. Now, they guys is one of the best PG's in the NBA, a very solid shooter, great passer, plays D and took Denver from a just a first round playoff team to the brink of the NBA Finals. I'm sure he worked and currently works hard to not only get but maintain the level he plays at.

How do you know Kobe works harder than Chauncey Billups? Easy, we don't. Saying Kobe Bryant is the hardest working player in the NBA is quite frankly just a goofy comment.

All I know is it take's a LOT of work to become the most dangerous player in the NBA. It's not like he's just born with it, that's only a small part of it.

You know Kobe fans will be Kobe fans and Kobe haters will be Kober haters. Can't change people's likes or dislikes.

Right now however, this mega star and his team are about to win a well deserved championship and Kobe has to be given his credit.

All the talk about Fisher bailing him out, give me a break. If Kobe wasn't on the team nobody and I mean nobody on the Lakers would be getting the looks they get.

This guy is one of the best of all time not just in our time. His love for the game and passion, intensity is what draws people to the game and makes Laker games so exciting. He's brought in so many new fans.

Someone made a comment about how I can judge who plays hard and who doesn't. I've been watching the NBA for 2 decades. I can take educated guesses as to who plays hard and who doesn't.

Watch a few Vince Carter games and then watch Kobe play and see if you can't see for yourself.

How many of you Kobe haters play ball? I played at the high school and university level. Every player takes elbows or other contact and gives it too.

What do all these clips of Kobe elbowing players prove? You think he doesn't get elbowed? Star players get a lot of attention and physical play, they have to stick up for themselves or they will get mauled.

Love him or hate him, he is a mega star and on top of the world and on the verge of winning another championship.

You forgot to mention, laughing on the bench as they were getting eliminated in the post season during a blow out.

Great point man. I've seen it on more than one occasion. That would infuriate me as a fan. No pride or intensity whatsoever. You will never see Kobe like that. I don't want to tune in and watch these gifted but overpaid and lazy, shameless players like Vince, etc taking the game as a joke. I'd rather watch Kobe anyday.

God given gifts and people like Vince take it as a joke. If it wasn't for bball he'd be at some fastfood joint flipping burgers yet he can't show some gratitude by playing hard for the fans that made him. Pathetic. He's not the only one either. There's many out there.

I don't know how anyone can't admire Kobe's talent, passion and intensity for the game.

Maybe not the hardest worker but one of them for sure. If you cannot for the most part tell who plays hard and who doesn't you don't know much about sports.

What do you know about Vince Carter past his professional sports career? I think that statement is an unfair one; you can't judge a man's intelligence based on the way he acts at the end of a basketball game.

Not just at the end but I've seen him joking around and indifferent during games. The guy is a disappointment and a joke.

Exactly, I'm talking about his sports career and not his personal life. His pro career he's made a joke out of his career compared to what he could have been because he lacks passion and intensity, not to mention integrity(remember when he admitted he never went all out while a Raptor?)

Good article in the tribune today about Kobe and his attempt at being MJ-like.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sport...-morrissey-kobe-bryant-jun12,0,7963482.column

"Whenever I watched Jordan play for the Bulls, I always felt as if he were completely in the moment against his opponent. Whenever I watch Bryant play for the Lakers, I get the feeling he believes the TV cameras are on him at all times."

Shocking it comes from The Tribune. Would be a lot more credible coming from a neutral party.

At the olympics who did everyone point to as the hardest worker on the team? Kobe

Those opinion matters way more than any of ours

Once Kevin Garnett is back, the Celtics will bitch-slap weak LA, just like
they did last season.

How does it feel knowing the team that went you had to go toe to toe with got disposed of in 3.5 games?

I've been a Laker fan since the Vlade Divac and Nick Van Exel days but yeah, there are a lot of bandwagon jumpers. That doesn't mean they aren't fans. Kobe haters just need to get over it.
