No longer voting is consistent with my disillusionment with government in general, and democracy specifically. At this stage, if I continued voting, I would be hypocritical. Now, if we should ever have a candidate like Ron Paul, I may change my mind, but none like him exist here. And the Libertarian Party of Canada (while still a political party, so still not totally in line with my views) does not run a candidate in my riding. As I do volunteer work for them, they want me to run, if you can believe that.

Fuck you, Blight. My family lost six men and one woman (a nurse) in that war. That they were drafted by a state that gave them no choice in the matter, is precisely my opposition to state tyranny. My rejection of that which led to their deaths is the precise opposite of your accusation.
