Pancho- You could not be more incorrect, it is a very smart way to make decent money.

Right on, Pancho...unless you have a better reason to play it, teasers "across the board" even through key numbers, are only mildly profitable.

I do not play teasers. I rarely parlay. I have seen guys with great success teasing through key numbers, 2 and 3 teamers. Just not my cup of tea. You have to cap differently, with a different number, and ATS results are much easier to deal with than variable teaser results. Like a team may be strong on 6 point tease, and great on a 10 pointer. Or geat on a 10 pointer, but bad on a 6 pointer. If I feel like gambling, which is rare, I try pleasers. Best Wishes...OF

Disclaimer...they can be beaten consistently. I just prefer to work with real line and real juice.

For you non-believers..........

Ever wonder why Vegas did away with 6 point EV money 2-team teasers years ago at 95% or more of the sportsbooks????

Perhaps you didnt even realize that, or know the whole story as to why.

Perhaps you should investigate.

Sorry fish, it ain't an opinion, its fact.

I ran it through over 25 years worth of games (NFL only) and the only way you come out slightly ahead is what I stated, through the 3 and 7.

But don' take my word for it.

PANCHO-- exactly!!

That is part of the strategy........and why it is a super play if you know a few more things beyond what you just stated.

Teasers are a sucker bet. They're FUN, which is the best and only reason to play them.

uh, maybe not.

like Pancho said, through 3 & 7, playing every game that qualifies, you would be up over the past (at least) 20 seasons. That is following it blind. Not up a lot, but still up. Tighten it up and then you have some good possibilities.

imo.......if you choose to bet teasers......nfl only

also did notice last nfl season that more than the usual amount of teasers hitting on all sides occurred...(side/side and side/total)............

only play teasers at books that offer

1. ties are a push or win
2. no juice on 2-team 6 teasers

playing at books that call ties a loss or charge juice on 2 team 6 point teasers is too much to overcome to be profitable.......

with that said, betting teasers will not scare any book, into thinking your a wise-guy....and in my experience most people who bet teasers tend to fall into the trap of betting too many teasers.......usually keying one team with multiple combos...

I like a teaser here and there in football. I don't see a problem with a few teasers and I know Jman was very good last year.
