Villareal -1 (AH) @ 1.84 (188bet)

Villareal will tackle Almeria at El Madrigal hoping to continue their decent run of results after what have been a disastrous start to the season. Almeria is currently in the lower part of the table with 16 points and only 3 points above the drop zone. It looks like once again Almeria will have to fight for survival. After a 2-0 loss away to Espanyol, Almeria parted ways with head coach Hugo Sanchez. New coach Juan Manuel Lillo got to a winning start, with a 1-0 win over Xerez las weekend. Almeria was all but convincing in that game, they didn't play well against the worst side in the league, only snatching a very late equaliser to give them 3 points. Almeria is tradiotionally poor away from home, so far they have 1 win 1 draw and 6 losses. Since their main striking force of last season Alvaro Negredo gone to Sevilla, Almeria became a lot weaker comparing to last season and they will have to better if they are planning to maintain La Liga status.

After a disastrous start to the season Villareal a slowly starting to play like their fans expected them to play from the begininng of the season. Villareal had 3 win on the spin in La Liga before last weeks solid draw against Barcelona. Villareal did really well at Camp Nou and arguably deserved a victory in that game. Their passing game improved a lot comparing to the start of the season, they look a lot more comfortable on the ball and passing it very well. Draw against Celta Vigo away from home in Copa Del Rey probably was a result of players minds' already in very important home game against Almeria, so Villareal shouldn't be judged by the performance in that Copa Del Rey match. Villareal has too much for Almeria at this stage of the season, when they can't afford to slip up in games like these, so expect them to be fully focused coming into this game.

Valencia +0 (AH) @ 1.70 (188bet)

Deportivo La Coruna will tackle Valencia at Riazor stadium. This is Copa Del Rey 2nd leg fixture between these two sides. Deportivo La Coruna won first match (2-1) at the Mestalla stadium and will take a won goal advantage coming into the 2nd leg fixture. Deportivo are enjoying a very good season so far. They currently occupy 4th spot in La Liga table and have ambitions to fight for UEFA Champions League places. However this month Deportivo La Coruna will be really tested, as they have a lot of injuries to deal with. The latest addition to the club's injury list is Andres Guardado - arguably one of the best players for Depor this season. Deportivo La Coruna coach Lotina has a thin squad coming into this fixture and he is probably more concerned about La Liga at the moment, because his team has perspectives of fighting for UEFA Champions League places.

Valencia is expected to field strong side in this match. David Silva is back for Valencia and that's a big boost for the team, as he is major player for them. In first meeting of these two teams David Silva came of the bench with only 20 minutes left to be played in the match. Latest Valencia singing Dominguez is also expected to make his debut. With Deportivo struggling with injuries Valencia has a decent opportunity to overcome a one goal deficit and progress further in the competition.

Aston Villa +0 (AH) @ 1.80 (188bet)

Aston Villa will meet Blackburn Rovers in the first leg of Carling Cup semi final at Ewood Park. The mach should have been played last week, but it was postponed. This week Blackburn Rovers staff worked very hard to make sure that the match wouldn't be postponed once again and their effort was rewarded - the match will go on. Both these teams are living through different times at the moment. Aston Villa still has ambitions to break into the TOP 4 and Blackburn Rovers are sitting in the lower part of the table with only 3 points separating them from relegation zone. Blackburn Rovers are winless in 9 Premier League games and their boss Sam Allardyce should be more concerned over his team's league form rather than Carling Cup match, because staying up int the Premier League is much more important for this team. Seeing the situation at the club, already some good players (McCarthy, Roberts) stated their desire to leave Blackburn Rovers. This surely affects the dressing room in a negative way. Sam Allardyce didn't play this too players in their last two matches. Without them Blackburn Rovers attack look very weak, with Di Santo once again dissapointing in the match against Man City and Diouf suspended, it is hard to see Blackburn improving against Aston Villa. The atmosphere in the team is poor and team lacks spirit.

Comparing to Blackburn Rovers, the mood of Aston Villa players and fans should be much better. Aston Villa had an extra week of rest comparing to Blackburn Rovers, as their match against Wigan Athletic was postponed this Saturday. The fact that Villans had an extra week rest could as well prove to be vital. Aston Villa already won against Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup few weeks earlier. In that match Villans were without Dunne, Milner, Petrov. All these players are expected to return and Martin O'Neil has almost full squad available for this match.

Stoke +0.5 (AH) @ 1.80 (188bet)

Stoke will welcome struggling Liverpool side at the Britannia Stadium. Liverpool are having a dreadful season. they have been very unlucky with injuries, but this is not really an excuse, because team of such caliber should have enough depth to overcome injury problems. Even with full strenght side Liverpool sometimes performed below par. Everybody is waiting for Liverpool to finally explode and put a good run together. However things don't look bright for Liverpool at the moment. After a shameful FA Cup exit against Reading, some important players picked up injuries. Torres, Gerrard,
Benayoun, Johnson will all be unavailable for Liverpool in this game. These players are the best that Liverpool has and they will find it very difficult to brake down Stoke side without them. Liverpool played 120 mins of football 3 days ago not in ideal conditions, so the players will not be fully recorvered for this game against Stoke.

tonypulis.jpg

Stoke are a very solid side and is one of the toughest teams to break down in the league. They are traditionally strong in defense and they always cause problems for the oposition after free-kicks and corners because they have a lot of big, strong players in the team. Stoke are definitely not the side which Liverpool would enjoyt playing against at the moment. With Liverpool side currently in bad condition Stoke will feel they will be good enough to get at least a draw in this match.

Everton - Man City Over 2.5 @ 2.02 (188bet)

Everton will host flying Man City at Goodison Park. Both these teams had TOP 4 ambitions in the beginning of the season, however both these teams are living through different times at the moment. Everton have been dissapointing this season and now they find themselves only in 12th places in table. Everton have been really unlucky with injuries so far with all their best players missing for the most part of the season. They especially miss Mikel Arteta - the main playmaker at Everton. However performance wise Everton has been improving lately and they have finally started to find the net regulary. They played really well in the 2-2 draw against Arsenal last week and arguably deserved to win this match.

tevezs.jpg

As for Man City, they are absolutely flying at the moment. They are on a 5 game winning streak coming into this match and they have been scoring goals for fun lately. Carlos Tevez is in stunning form. Everytime Man City attack they look dangerous. Mancini made players believe in themselves again and this is the main reason why Man City is so hot at the moment. This match is going to be very emotional as in recent years the rivalry developed between these two teams and with both in pretty good scoring form it is possible that we will see a high scoring game.

Stuttgart - Wolfsburg Over 2.75 @ 1.83 (188bet)

Stuttgart will play host to struggling Wolfsburg in their
Mercedes-Benz-Arena. Wolfsburg are currently living through some difficult times. First of all their results have been poor recently and as a result Wolfsburg are currently sitting in 8th place in the Bundesliga standings. They haven't won a footbal match for 7 straight games. This is a really poor form considering that Wolfsburg were the Champions of Bundesliga last year. They really failed to deal with the tough schedule and they not seem to be ready to play on two fronts (Bundesliga, Champions League). Wolfsburg has very talented attacking players in Dezko, Misimovic, Grafite, but they struggle diffensively. The allowed 12 goals in their last 5 matches.

grossl.jpg

Stuttgart started the season in a very poor fashion and as a result they now sit near the relegation zone. Their coach Babbel was sacked.
Christian Gross came to repalce Babbel and inspired Stuttgart for some good perfromances. With Christian Gross at the helm Stuttgart started playing a lot better. They look more confident going forward, they also like to press the oposition all over the pitch and since Wolfsburg don't defend well at the moment Stuttgart may capitalise on that and score few goals. Wolfsburg can play very well in attack and can punish Stuttgart on counter attacks.
