A friend of mine wholesaled meat he would sell me a 10 pound rib-eye Australian rib-eye for about $40. So nice to cut into 8oz steaks, a bit of Rosemary, salt and pepper then bar-b-qued...fantastic.

Joe Jr declares: Who cares what you pay??
And in those five words we get the right wing Repub caricature in a nicely wrapped package
If told his tax load might rise $20 a week to help facilitate wider access to that Great American HC System for more Americans, I bet we might hear, "I don't want to pay that much!"

that's 80 bux a month bar.....to facilitate giving health insurance for a large amount of folks who don't want to pay 80 bux a month because it might eat into their hbo channels....
I would personally have no complaint whatsoever with paying $80 a month in increased taxes if it helped faciliate increased access to needed health care for more Americans.
The overall drain on my community (and yours) when they do not have needed access dwarfs an easy $20 a week from my end.

OK then, that's one.I have no idea who is willing to give to help facilitate other people having better access to reliable health care.
I can only speak for myself and say that I would have no complaint paying either higher income tax or higher sales tax if it helped to facilitate more Americans having access and equally important - if it helped assure that fewer Americans would be confronted with choosing between needed health services or going bankrupt.
