IMO it really hurts him in the ring. I am a huge fan of Broner when he boxes, and I mean boxes. He just can't do it for an entire fight, and normally only about 60% of it. Round 5 tonight I think it was, he looked crisp. He understands The Sweet Science for sure, and shows flashes of what it's all about, but his silliness gets in the way at times of really following through with it. I'd kill to have half his talent.

How do you think he got this talent?

I wanted to see Broner/Khan on this card but I think Floyd camp is hoping Khan looks sharp tonight so they can just do him/Khan in Sept since Amir hs a nice overseas following.

Khan is slapping, grabbing, and repeating. Winning every round though. What will happen if/when he fights Floyd as that's what he does too.

Floyd will destroy Khan as much as it hurts to say it.

Yeah I don't wanna see them fight, just saying I think that is who Floyd will fight next.

Do you give Maidana any chance in this fight? Usually the slicker boxers have been the ones to do OK vs Floyd, besides Cotto but you never know when age catches up...

I didn't bet it. Felt like After Floyd -160 to get a decision vs Canelo that was pretty much the last time ever you were gonna be able to bet Floyd at a decent price.

Got small change at +840 on Maidana, as well as him by KO/TKO/DQ. Worth a shot. Definitely has the power to KO Floyd, but catching him squarely is another fight in itself. If I had to Coach Maidana tonight, it would be this...

1) Establish a jab...jab,jab, and jab some more. -A nice off rhythm stepping double jab

2) Be 1st and last to get off (easier said than done with Floyd, of course)

3) Make this fight a flat out war. Punch him everywhere. Body shots are great. If Floyd is pushing off like he likes to do, then he's not defending. Gotta catch him then. If so, it can easily hurt Floyd. The body punches could play a toll on the 37 year old Floyd in the later rounds.

4) Speaking of body shots, let's go lead right hand to body, retreat, smashing left hook.

Here we go...

Khan is a solid fighter. Still think Mayweather would mop him. Think Broner/Mayweather would be fun.

Maidana totally controlling fight in my eyes. Mayweather may have snuck a couple rounds out, but Mai is in control, putting May up against the ropes at will. Connecting with some of those overhand haymakers. Real street fight we got here. Will depend if he can keep his energy through all 12.

9th is first Round Floyd controlled the ring, definitely took the round, may have turned the tide there.
