yea, good call on that one....
you must not have watched psu play at all this season have you? because if you have you would have seen cornley absolutely dominate some games, against michigan they had 3 people on him and he still couldnt be stopped, at michigan state izzo said cornley was as good of a player that there is in the big ten....floridas coach last night said cornley was the best player in the big ten and he admitted to knowing that he didnt have an answer for him before the game even started
i should have looked at this thread yesterday, i KNEW cornley was playing and his injury would not be a factor, i KNEW battle was playing and his injury would not be a factor....i KNEW florda would not have an answer for the battle/pringle/cornley combination... anyone who was giving psu 11 points was stupid.....plain and simple......this team would be in the sweet 16 right now if they wouldnt have got screwed over, they should have had wiskys 12 seed and they would have beat both FSU and xavier.... however i have to say that they would probably get waxed by pitt in the sweet 16 though
i agree the out of conference schedule was HORRIBLE this year... i dont even know if horrible can describe it hahah
however i also think that their conference play spoke for itself... they finished 4th in a conference that sent 7 teams, out of all the teams in that conference they were the only team to beat all of the top 3 teams: michigan state (AT msu), purdue and illinois (swept them, beat them at home and on the road)
the iowa loss at the end of the season after a big comeback win against illinois killed them... i think that is the game that kept them out of the tournament....
i am calmed down though, i was just trying to make a point that if someone is saying that cornley made this team worse than they obviously did not watch any psu basketball this season..thats all

I was on PSU last night. With the exception of having to go out of the country in January, for 10 days, I didn't miss any conference games in the Big 10. I thought they were underrated all year. Winning at Breslin and Assembly was very impressive in my book and if you look in this thread, I said they may have a chance to win out right.
I agree the OP had no idea what he was talking about. Not critical of his play, but about Cornley. Also, have no idea how 5Florida would be favored by 10.5 over PSU but 15 over Jacksonville.
Listen i watch every psu game....cornley played out of his fucking mind last night.....he isnt that good.....any team can win if they shot like psu did last night...i was completely off.....i lost a shitload of money...ive now learned to never fuck with psu....basketball or football.....its seems to me that im always on the wrong side everytime.....

1.notice how he tries to direct the offense around when he has the ball 20 ft from the basket....he at least waste 10 secs off the clock
2. he takes outrageous shots sometimes..
3. PSU is a running team...cornley is built for offensive sets..
